- SURPRISE! I'm bringing yet another one of my personal mixes, in today's video I'll be presenting you my take on the track "I Can't Help It".
The song was originally recorded during the "Off The Wall" album sessions, But in this mix I'll be reconstructing the song as if it were made during the "Bad" album sessions! Please leave any suggestions for future mixes!

Originally on Off the Wall, This version of I Can’t Help It was re recorded during the Bad Sessions with the B team In February 1986. The track would be worked on more in 1987 without the A team and considered for the final track list but ultimately kept off as it had technically been released. It would later be replaced with Liberian Girl on the final track list.
Amazing mix again, might be a new favorite. Has an amazing groove to it. Keep it up!
Unfortunately there are some people that’ll believe this is true.
@@LilGabe504 Yeah, tell me about it.
@@LilGabe504 why did this dude just make this story up? hahaha its so very clearly his vocal tone from the late 70's, he would have sang this completely different in 1986.
@@garfieldsumatrayou gotta admit, it was pretty clever 😂😂 but really tho, MJ’s voice could hit those same notes in 1986 that he hit in 1979. Remember “Another Part Of Me” was recorded in 1985-86.
He had the same smoothness as well.
LMAO . This story is total BS. A good ahh story....but BS lol > anyway nice solid remix reimagined
this has to be one of the best michael jackson remixes
What a brilliant piece!
Oooh! Amazing mixed. Perfect blend. ♥️
This song is 40 plus years old and still a masterpiece, MJ is the ultimate music act.
Sooo flawless... amazing 😎
Classic. Higher quality 👌
Soooo fresh to hearing.
I'll admit, I think this shoulda been the original cut! 🍿🍿
Very enjoyable. Simply love love and love .... IT. 🔥🔥
This really gives the 80s vibe
In an alternative universe:
In the year 1979, Michael Jackson would record the song, both written by Stevie Wonder and Susaye Greene. The former of which recorded a writer’s demo for Michael at the time. Unfortunately it would not make it into the final cut of [insert AU album title for Off the Wall]. It was also reconsidered for [insert AU title for Thriller] with completed vocals but never made it. In 1987, during the [insert AU title for Bad] sessions, Michael would go back into the song once again - with a finalized instrumentation of the song - a new sound to it at the time, and it was finally released on the album.
You did amazing on the mix here, Karnage! Extremely wonderful.
Starlight (early Thriller album)
Stevie Wonder would be proud. Honestly, this is one of the best remixes you've ever done. You deserve a grammy for this.
Wow, thank you! ❤❤
oh this DEFINITELY fits the "Characters" album vibe - i love it !!!
@@DJMoonWalker25 This would probably be more the Woman in Red, In Square Circle time frame. Stevie really was that much further ahead of the pack with creating new sounds. He had an album that was supposed to hit after Woman in Red that was called "People Move, Human Play" (around 1984). This is kind of the sound that I would have imagined would have come from that. Instead, he scraped that and we got In Square Circle in 1985.
@@StillOneder I need that album sooo bad . That album would’ve had “It’s Growing” on it , right ? I love that unreleased jam when he performed it
@@DJMoonWalker25 Possibly. Although he was performing It's Growing during the Characters tour. But "You Will Know" and "Cryin' Through the Night" were both in the credits as written in 1981 as well.
He also gave a few songs to Eddie Murphy in the mid-80's, along with a song to the Beach Boys which puts a knife into my heart that he didn't keep for himself.
The other thing, because you mentioned Characters. Remember that was originally planned by Stevie to be a double album. He was conceptualizing a project similar to Songs in the Key of Life. I remember he had 30 songs that they chose from for the final single album that became Characters.
But he was also black-balled on radio right after In Square Circle (which is why Characters went largely unheralded), so it was easy for him to pull back and stop giving us his music on a regular schedule. THAT is the real shame above all of this.
Amazing version, i love your work. Love & peace. I miss you MJ

Please do Don't Stop Til You Get Enough 80s thriller era mix
if this was created in "1986" then michaels vibrato would be different and his voice would have a little more grit; bc lets be honest, during the bad era michael thought he was a badass😂😂 I love this mix id play it on repeat❤️✨😁

still sound like something Stevie would help produce around the Bad era
where'd you get that acapella?
Is there an instrumental for this
I'm sure you guys know more about everything in life than me...but music in the early 80's wasn't that different than music in the late 70's. Only two major changes: 1. In the early 80s they stopped shunning synthesizers. They were already wildly popular in the seventies but just frowned upon. 2.They disguised and remixed disco tracks. Disco never died....you were fooled. They slowed it down a few beats per minute and changed certain instrumentation and re-labeled it as "Funk" or "Rhythm" music. It was the exact same style. Listen to the Wanna Be Starting Something Demo...Then hear the retail version...it's the same record. Even though that would not be considered a Disco record, it is record from the seventies, but it's the sound that we identity as eighties music...like I said, they're virtually the same thing. The sound of pop music didn't really change until about 85-88.
未来のメタリックな街
This sound like a Sonic game song
Hamdsome cutie..
