I don't think Duke understands how awesome he is.
1: "I must go, I have to walk my log."
2: "Log? You mean dog?"
1: "No."
Day made comment lmao
Duke is an alpha name. No wonder you guys are buff dudes.
Duke Nukem Lol
The respect is automatic.
BuffDuke is a legend
This guy is really humble and cool
That was awesome! Great videos guys, looked like loads of fun making that bad boy as well!
Hello there
lol you stupid
That's why Buff dudes are strong as hell. They've got farmer strength, can't get that in a gym it's like a super strength!
only everything about the vid, INCLUDING the hickory shirt, suspenders etc... is logging related..
So good. Awesome dad, but we already knew that! Thanks Dudes… and Duke.
It's back, the difficulty rating system is also a cool addition.
Yeah, we figured for this one we would definitely need to let people know it's a harder build and the rating system worked out perfect.
It's always good to see that you guys improve your videos, the instructions were also really clear, looking forward to the next video in the series. Keep up the good work.

Thank you! We really appreciate feedback because it gives us a great idea of the direction we should go or possible things we're leaving out. Funny how in our first videos we wouldn't even list reps or sets until someone gave us the heads up and then we went "oh yeah, that'd probably be helpful." ;)
Buff Dad- an excellent source of logging know-how and charm!
Buff dad, you are my hero Mr. Duke. My son now only 3, but I know what to do with him later when he grow up as he already taking a liking to the weight equipment now. God bless you all.
Awesome. I love being an Oregonian. RESPECT TO YOU GUYS.
You're the kind of dad every kid should have!!!
Yes, I totally like this one, and it is something I could see myself doing, especially having access to all the tools already, good way to make a strongman log over paying out the ass for one, not to mention it's always cooler to say you built it yourself. Now some kind of DIY Atlas Stone would be awesome!
That's an awesome idea ShoreStudios we'll look into it.
There's one on Elliott's channel
damn that's some dedication to the craft fitness equipment! I'm really glad I found your guy's channel.
Looked like it was a great father-son day! My fav days!
GREAT JOB Daddy Buff-Dude!
Epic DIY vid - more please.
This was great! You dudes should bring your Dad into more of your videos :D
You not only learn how to make it but if you watch closely, you also learn manly skills along the way! Excellent!
so much positive energy... kind of radiates from this man! awesome work, keep it coming!!!
Buff dad sounds so nervous in front of the camera! It's okay Buff Dad, I love you! lol
Duke lost it at 7:41 lol.
And chemtrail at 5:32.
It's always nice to see people home making something, especially when it's workout tools.
I'd like to one a pair of those logs!
Sooooooo did Brandon pick it up?
you guys are so lucky you have a dad that makes this kind of stuff! i wish no wonder you boys are jacked and strong hahaha!
He's like a surgeon with that chainsaw, nice work!
That was awesome. Your dad is great. This coming from a Oregon logger here in Philomath. I've got to give it a try.
He's a complete beast at what he builds
This is some Rocky type of stuff, definitely gonna try this with my dad lol Thanks, cool video.

Buff Dudes, awesome video. I will be building this, thank you for the walkthrough. I will be adding copper painted hardware to really set off the flat black. Could I request something? I would love to see an overhead log press log to compliment those farmers carry logs. I just binged on a dozen buff dudes videos, keep up putting positive energy out there, dudes. Posting on multiple videos for increased chances of you seeing.
I love the videos with your dad in them!
wow! I actually learned quite a bit in this video! thanks again DUDES!
i see where the buff dudes get their manliness from.
Buff Dudes let's build a bench next time ! Shall we ?
Rail road ties huh? I did that. There's a track that about a mile away from my house, so I dug up some ties. The next morning the train derailed carrying crude oil and burned down half the county...thanks buff dudes for the suggestion.
Well damn
Did our Buff dude manage to lift that last DIY farmer's walking log xD
Else awesome guys keep the DIY series coming i'm really enjoying these videos :)
Don't know what's more masculine, the use of the chainsaw or the beard I grew watching this.

Awesome stuff man. I was working on chest today and was thinking of a way you could incline a cooler with with some placement mats or towels or anything around the house you could shove under it to give it a slight angle. Idk just I thought you could work with.

I can see my self doing this, and great video. Another way to get strong is to buck bales. I mentioned that because I saw the side role in the background, and it made me think of hay.

buff dudes
great idea!
Hi Duke!
Awesome video thanks !
I was wondering if you can show, how to make a -buff dude press log- from a bigger tree trunk, so that it could be used for bench press or squats or bicep curls ?
Is it needed or better to install pipes ? Could it be easier to "curve" the wood?
As you can understand I am far from familiar with this ! :)
Thanks in advance !
This dude is awesome lol 🔥🔥🤣
OMG!! Who saw Buff dude style huge barbell in the background at the beginning? :)
For cardio you can use a hand plane to give that thing a nice smooth surface.
That video was awesome haha
buff dad Duke is badass
I live in the city, I wonder if I'll get in trouble running in the park with a chainsaw in central park.
You won't. I tried it all the way through 5th ave.
Haha, I lived in RURAL eastern oregon on over 20,000 acres during part of my teens. For fun, I would go up to the forest land and fall dead pondorosa snags. keep in mind this is in the winter so snow has closed off acess for miles around, not to mention I was one of 5 or so people within say 10 miles. Im talking about Ironside mtn. at ironside OR. we owned the mtn, all the forest land was behind it. NOBODY ANYWHERE!
Would you believe that one day a ranger came to school & pulled me out of class because of those trees! someone over the internet speculated on a comment I made regarding firewood gathering on our property. So this ranger had a folder full of papers, a chevy tahoe and somewhat of an attitude. I'll admit now that I had no idea that falling dead snags was against the law. so he questioned me as we rode towards home, the whole time I learned how illegal cutting a rotton 30 ' tall fraction of a tree is. So as we drive up to the main house I explain to him that we won't make it up there in his chevy. He disregards my insight and we make it about a third of a mile past the houses, (the driveway from the highway goes 4 or 5 miles maybe more I never measured all the way through the property to forest land with the houses/buildings along the way. the larger half being from home up to forest ground) still in the alfalfa fields at the foot of the mtn before the snows too deep.
So he never saw the trees, in person or via photo. and do you know that he tried to fine me almost $10,000! I ended up paying almost $2000 before it was all over and no one ever saw the snags. as soon as the snow melted what I hadn't toted down the mtn, (might as well right?) would be hauled off by the firewood guys. if its on the ground its fair game, I helped them substantially lol, and they got rid of the evidence quickly lol.
live & learn. I learned that even If you are 100 miles from anything, people will know about it..
😅😅😅🤣
Awesome video by the way
You should include notches perpendicular to the center bar on wither side to you can perform a log press as well! Buff Dudes
*either *so
Best Dad ever. Duke ftw!
Look forward to next diy
Badass tutorial!
Holy shit great idea
that was really good now I know how to do it.
