My idea pins even took me time to make, since I am writing lists (e.g. affordable activities for the summer in your local community). I see that TikTok videos are pretty much taking over Pinterest but I am not interested in producing those types of videos. What is going on with Pinterest? I was told that Pinterest was a good place to promote my books.
Hey Mica, well, it sounds like you're doing a fantastic job. How long ago did you create your account, and have you been pinning consistently? I know Pinterest is getting more difficult, and people are struggling, but it's still a great place to get traffic; it might just take more time. Let me know if things change.
I have exactly the same problem. I pin 5-7 pins per day and I only get 200 impressions per day. And hardly any engagement. It's been 6 weeks and I'm losing hope :'(
@@Pixydust143 i feel like these people making videos on pinterest are not quite being honest about how pinterest has changed. Maybe it was a good place to show your products and get some traffic to your website or store (etsy, shopify, amazon) but its changed. There are people on reddit with the same issue. No clicks and very little traffic.
been playing around with idea pins and I have to say that when I make ones sized 1000 x 1500 they perform way better than 1080 x 1920. A lot of people seem to suggest the latter but I barely got any impression on my 1080x1920 one :).

Ahh, thank you Ari 💛 Hmm, so it's hard for me to say it could be many things. But a thing I often see is that people focus on pins that get a lot of saves and impressions but not clicks. So maybe dig into how to create pins that actually get clicked on. That's usually tutorials, how-to's, and lists rather than quotes or infographics. If you're a business, maybe show more lifestyle images of how the product can be used rather than just pinning the product image itself. Hope this helps :)

What should I do with affiliate links in the existing blog content? Do I need to delete those affiliate links or leave them there? 2. Do I need to reframe the changed blog content and its affiliate links once the season or trend is over?

Hey Rajib, yes you can republish those pins but Pinterest won't see them as "fresh" as it already knows the picture. It could still bring in some traffic but I would recommend you create new images for even better results.

I wanted to know that if my website which I have claimed on pinterest got crashed or hacked, and then I change my website on pinterest, so due to removing of the old website and claiming a new website on my pinterest profile will my account reach be affected or not?
Hey Mohammad. That's an excellent question; I can only speculate because Pinterest does not communicate things like that openly. I would try to contact them and ask. But I would guess, yes, it will affect your reach as you've built up some authority on that website with Pinterest, and now that it's gone and you have a new domain, it first has to get to know the new site. But I'm speculating. So sorry to hear about the hack - so frustrating.
Hey Souad, so sorry to hear that. So if I understand correctly you're only pinning other people's pins? I would recommend you claim your website and create pins that lead back to your own content. Keep me posted.
