Saw on the mod page they're gonna make it so endermen cant teleport mobs into a space the enderman can't teleport into itself thankfully. Also nice job on the editing this time around, really nailed it and kept it entertaining.
Two suggestions: in the manual config, you can turn off the natural spawning of the parasite enderman, as well as turning off the damage adaptation of adapted (and higher tier) parasites. The reason why the adapted yelloweye wasn't taking any melee damage after a bit was because it adapted to melee damage, becoming completely invulnerable to it. By changing those two things in the manual config, you get rid of 60% of the unfairness this mod likes to throw at people. The 40% of unfairness left, like how many parasites can two-shot you in full gear, can be balanced out with guns. Lots of guns.
@@troubled_boys you can also use fire to stop them from adapting, though i recommend tweaking the beckon stage IV and the ancient's adaptation, since its very OP
I think the enderman makes 90% of the unfairness, the adaptation is unfair but I think just slowing it down (for a lot) is great, like, to the point it would take vids to see them actually get fully immune to something Or maybe it could make the adaptation be even more separated, like to wooden melee, stone sword melee etc, even cooler if it would take longer to adapt to higher ranks like diamond melee
The fact that they never noticed the growing threat in the caves below them is just beyond me. Amazing video, wish there was more content like this for S&R parasites.
The adapted parasites can adapt to a specific damage type for example if you kept hitting them with melee attacks, they'll eventually stop taking damage from melee and you have to switch to range attacks to force them to switch their adaptability. From what I can tell if they're green after you hit them, it means that you are still doing damage to them but if they're purple that means they are completely invulnerable to the damage type that you're using. They can't adapted to fire and lava but killing them with it is not easy since they have like 200 HP and lava does about 2 damage per second. About half of the adapted parasites also have abilities that makes it difficult to use lava on them like flying, leaping, pulling you from a distance and invisibility. If I had to guess on why there are just adapted parasites chilling below your base, it could be because the Beckon kept spawning parasite on the mobs underground eventually start fusing with each other to become primitive (would explain the random explosion) and continue to because adapted after getting enough kills. This would also explain why the parasites up top kept turning it self into moving flesh when there's no other moving flesh nearby, they're trying to fuse with the parasites underground.
Yeah I can't even imagine being able to melee attack any of these bigger parasites. Yeah It definitely seems like we let too much stuff happen below us by running away from our problems lol. Thanks for the info and explanation.

you can disable the assimilated enderman teleporting other mobs on you in the config which i would recommend since they can just keep endlessly teleporting other parasites into your base from phase2
Yeah, considering the stuff that happens later in the mod, I don't think anyone would complain if you got some gun mods. In fact, you'll probably want to install a lot of op mods, otherwise you'll have a really hard time against the end-game parasites.

Ideas: 1) tile the inside roof of a panic room with trapdoors. You can fit if you CROUCH, shift, please don’t forget or else you can’t get in. But you can crouch in there, and the enderman can’t teleport things like assimilated humans into there with you, because it’s now less than 2 blocks high. Wolves can probably still get teleported in, but it’ll keep you safer. 2) when you stand inside the lava trap, have a basic fishing rod on you. I’m fairly certain you can hook creatures through the lava and pull them into the lava. 3) just for your own info, as far as I know (idk if the scape and run AI is smarter than the general AI, but I don’t think so.) mobs see trapdoors as full blocks. Whether the trapdoor is open or closed. So if you have a 2x2 wide hole covered on all sides by open trapdoors, they’re gonna run right over it thinking they can cross and just fall in. Trapdoors are overpowered. I know this isn’t your most recent episode so idk if you’ll see this, but hope you do and hope it helps. Best of luck, y’all are legends for sticking with this.
I also don’t know much about yelloweyes but I know enough to be certain y’all are doomed I’d recommend looking into whether obsidian can be broken by the yelloweye. Maybe you could slowly encase your base walls in obsidian, or maybe there’s another block it can’t break. Stone and cobblestone aren’t very strong blocks.

man i love this simple but real good videos so i gonna give you a tip get a mod that put more ways to deal damage because the parasites have something that call adaping if you hit a parasite with to much mele the parasite will become inmune to mele so you need to change to arrow, tnt or fire they cannot be adapted to fire so get much lava buckets as you can

Alright just asking, how do you make Rupters or infected creatures attack villagers and animals? (Every time I put a Rupter next to a villager or Zombie the Rupters either ignores them or run away, it's pretty annoying...)
word of advice kill every animal you see and sleep so less hostile mobs spawn it slows down the infection as there are less mobs for there to infect farm animals are not a option that coth effect you see is a airborn version of the parasites if you have it you will spread it to any mobs around you and they will be infected and eventually turn if you see any beckons kill them immediately at all costs they greatly accelerate the infection and infect the world around you if there are to many beckons hunker down with stronger materials than stone like iron bars or stone bricks light up caves as best as you can to slow down the infection since they have less places they can spawn kill any normal hostile mobs you see before the parasites have the opportunity to infect them
@@Insidiouskiller over a 100 day period we can predict that sleeping will actually prevent stages 4 and 5 from occuring due to mathematics and field observations. simply put sleeping is a very effective method of slowing the spread, but the only way to stop it completely is to skybase out of range of the infection so it cant actually increase the phases
I broke the mod. I created a base in the sky above the ocean at phase 4. This strategy was meant to slow the progression of the phases and infection by reducing the amount of spawning, but I ended up halting the infection and phases almost entirely. Not to mention that after checking the evolution system in both that world and another, the progression of it was immensely slow and sleeping didn't really add any points. I checked my version, the wiki, my config file and even reinstalled the mod and nothing seemed to really change. I'm not sure if this is working intentionally, but I really hope the developer of the mod realizes both the issue of complete neutralization through spawn proofing and look into addressing the possible issues with the evolution system.

Assimilated ender an is pure nightmare fuel, an also hit like a TRUCK
Horror island modpack that has scape and run. Add a few extra mods like techguns, alien vs predator, ruined cities, loottweaker, mob tweaker. Gotta have guns if you're going to have a chance at survival in these kinds of environments lol. My favorite is the combat shotgun or the tesla rifle. The flamethrower works very well as crowd control but god help you....watch where you're spewing flames lest you burn something down like a house lol.
You can also add spardon weaponry mod sparton shieldm
Hmm I'll check it out and see what the boys think, thanks for the suggestion
Very good video, i can't wait to see more
it feels so odd because my friend and i have survived till five and we're still going, we're on a hardcore world that contains other horror mods too
🧢
@@troubled_boys i promise its not, we just dug really far under ground, like to bedrock. what we do for food though is before phase one we spam collect things for a farm and mass kill animals for food, we then have a stairway up from underground leading to a backdoor incase somethings happens, which right now the front of our base is infested
I think they may have turned up the difficulty, I've played scape and run without seeing a parasite for (in game) weeks at a time.
tip: use the mod modern warfare is veeeeeeery useful
I think you could make a sky base and cover it in lava, that way nothing should be able to reach you guys.
Lol I had the same idea at some point but I don't even know anymore after what we've seen
Call of the hive make you get mobs get the parasite viru.
I find Ian to be very relatable
is this a good thing?
@@troubled_boys yeah he's chaotic but it adds flavor to the video. Without Ian there would be no troubled boys
Andy Really Sounds Similar To Charlie Or Penguinz0
lmao i've never heard that before, i don't really it hear it tbh but maybe im wrong
Alright boys what's our solution for this infection? "PUT EM IN LAVA!"
If you guys play rebirth of the night
You guys have to be patient
Because crafting recipes are a lot different than normal vanilla recipes.
man i love this simple but real good videos so i gonna give you a tip get a mod that put more ways to deal damage because the parasites have something that call adaping if you hit a parasite with to much mele the parasite will become inmune to mele so you need to change to arrow, tnt or fire they cannot be adapted to fire so get much lava buckets as you can
a good mod for more damage types is Tech guns
So you guys are still lucky because there is no *four*.If it reach 4 is game over.
Oh lol I don't know, It seems if we are exposed out in the overworld and an Endermen is nearby it's over too
The best way is oceans.
Use doors as an air pocket.
@@Vastralix dude there is a water parasite now
@@ImprovedCameraman I know that. They can live in the ocean until phase 4 show up.
Btw most of the charge attacks that the parasites have ignore I frames
Interesting I didn't know that. I'll be sure to tell the boys as well
@@troubled_boys that's why one of your friends was brought down to 2 hp due to that assimilated wolf and if some parasites are taking suffocation damage they will break blocks
That thing that had his stuff in it it slowly but surely deletes your items so be careful
ty for heads up
"Can we go to sleep? Maybe it'll help"
People who don't know.
People who know.
Andy's voice looks like homer simpson
lmao I don't hear it at all but i got comments calling me other people too so idk
Great video, hopefully there will be a 3rd episode
Thank you! We definitely will have another episode, just need to figure out a few things.
why do you guys write the date in chat?
Hmm I don't think we did
It must've been coordinates or something else
When I play I can’t even get wood without spiders mauling me to death 💀
34:05 it fucking got me as soon it says that it teleports a asilament wolf instantly killing him xD
This is amazing please continue
Better for next episode to install mod that add arsenal (e.g Spartan Weaponry and Shields or even MrCrayfish gun mod)because mod with new ores lonely couldn't help very much.
Andy's first death and score 69
Its weird to know that there are very simple solutions to all of their problems. Trapdors on the lava thing to stop enderman tp?
THIS IS HILARIOUD AND AMAZING!!!!
Alright just asking, how do you make Rupters or infected creatures attack villagers and animals? (Every time I put a Rupter next to a villager or Zombie the Rupters either ignores them or run away, it's pretty annoying...)
it depends on the phase, rupters are passive on phase 0
Maybe you could add Flan's mod to make it more balanced (guns)
word of advice kill every animal you see and sleep so less hostile mobs spawn it slows down the infection as there are less mobs for there to infect farm animals are not a option that coth effect you see is a airborn version of the parasites if you have it you will spread it to any mobs around you and they will be infected and eventually turn if you see any beckons kill them immediately at all costs they greatly accelerate the infection and infect the world around you if there are to many beckons hunker down with stronger materials than stone like iron bars or stone bricks light up caves as best as you can to slow down the infection since they have less places they can spawn kill any normal hostile mobs you see before the parasites have the opportunity to infect them
Sleeping doesnt help that much considering that sleeping advances the phases too, check the wikş you want. Sleeping gives points to the parasites.
I really clicked on this video expecting a rant about the mod being broken in the sense of buggy, not unbalanced lol
Dude these UA-camrs deserve way more views and subs wtf
Thanks man, appreciate that
@@troubled_boys no problem, your content is entertaining af 😭 hope you guys blow up soon (as in popular-)
@@1ts3rick thanks, i hope so too
@@troubled_boys 👍👍 reminds me of a “gaming with the boys”
Stone brick helps so they don’t break it
Long peanuts.
Just like this video.
Long Sugarcanes.

@troubled boys Did you know that The infected Endermen can't pick up doors? Yea doors are O.P in Parasite mods :T I tested it
Hahhahh wth is that sound at 10:12

Guys!I have a new idea!
That's rebirth of the night mod pack.
Please make them like episodes.
Rebirth of the night is 1of the hardest modpack.
Rebirth of the night require 4GB RAM or 8GB.
No promises since I have a bunch of other mods I plan to play and record soon but i'll check it out with the boys.
what was the song in the intro?
you guys might have to get a flamethrower mod for this insane crap
love this
appreciate the support, thanks!
@@troubled_boys no problem :)
How do you guys host a server? Like Hamachi or a payed server?
Hamachi
Maybe when using shield also try attacking *IT MIGHT JUST MAKE İT WAY EASİER*
