I'm a 80's baby and here I sit at 41 year's old singing this to my baby as he falls asleep in my arms. All my babies were raised listening to 80's music. My oldest is 25 and she still loves Madonna, Heart, and Journey. Now in 2023 my 8 month loves it just as much. It hurts my soul when I think of all the good Musicians we've lost along the way.
Me too, yo! Born in '80, and the 1980s kicked ass. I think it's the last real decade that meshed pop-culture, music, T.V., film, ect. perfectly. The 1990s had it's moments, but not on the same scale as the 80s, you know? 🙂

This is probably Madonna's best song. Well written with a great hook. Her singing here is top notch and proves she wasn't just a dancer who made it big on her looks and videos. The gated reverb drums, synth and production is so signature 80's pop
Personally this is the only Madonna song I ever liked because it's a ballad and I LOVE a good ballad. I'm not a big Pop fan. My favourite ballads are AOR/Melodic/ Soft Rock ones eg Journey, Survivor, Air Supply , Chicago, Reo Speedwagon and Styx.

2024? I wasn't around in the 80s but Madonna was incredible back then, I listen to all her music. The opening 30 seconds of this song gives me goosebumps. The music is incredible in this video. In the 80s, the likes of Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Stevie Nicks, Laura Branigan and Pat Benatar etc I could go on, these women were just incredible in this time period.

My best friend, Renée Lynn Stuart was born July 20, 1974, and tragically passed away on March 12, 1993 in a car accident, at the age of 18..... I was a pallbearer at her funeral.... I dedicate this song every year on her birthday, to her, and tell her how much I still miss her.... She would have been 47 today..... 😓😓😓😓 RIP Renée Lynn Stuart 1974-1993....😓😓😓❤❤❤

I would extend that up until age 25, or whenever one gets married. I'm so lucky because my parents were both music lovers, so I was quite precocious when it came to listening to pop music. My love affair with popular music started when I was 8, when I went out to my aunt's house and heard my cousins playing records by some group called The Beatles.....so I've got that sort of feeling for the music released between 1964-1981 or so. (I was the only kid in my 6th grade class who knew who the Mamas and Papas and The Rascals (well, Young Rascals then) were.)

I think I loved her because she was "untrained", so to speak...if that makes even a damn bit of sense. Perfection is boring. She had so much passion in her voice, but it wasn't really perfect...and, truth be told, I guess I always loved her because she could always be counted on to "do something controversial", but you could always see that she had her heart at the bottom of it. I don't know, maybe it's just that I loved her because she was Italian, hahahahahahaha! I was proud of her grit. She didn't have an easy life, per se, but she was tough enough to keep on fighting until she made it big. The 80s was my era too, Lindsay. Wasn't it amazing? Peace to you.

My brother passed away on July 1, 2019 and he was the biggest Madonna fan. We made his funeral Madonna-themed and had his favorite songs on a playlist. "Crazy for You" was the final song we played because it was the song he would have wanted to play at his wedding. 🥺 My family and I are grateful that we can feel connected to him whenever we listen to her (which is all the time). ❤️

Madonna was one of my favorite artists and I had a girlfriend in the 80s who was the spitting image of Madonna. I love Madonna she had such awesome songs when I was growing up in the 80s. Time is flying by, it is scary but when I hear her songs, it takes straight back to the good old 80s.

This is such a beautiful song that should be the theme song for the 80's. Madonna is a megastar and an obvious legend but I still think her impact on music for multiple decades still gets overlooked. This song triggers crazy nostalgia, absolutely love it. 👍🏾
Her songs remind me of the best times I had with my Mom. May she R.I.P. I used to be embarrassed pulling up to baseball practice with her blasting Madonna. 😂 I’d give everything I owned to go back to those days with her.

The country where I come from, the 80s was the best time .. less racism and more unity among the people until the 2000s when politicians and religious radicals took over the country and decided the people leaders, using the race and religion cards .. this is one country that is going backwards towards the stone age.. I used to fall asleep to this song in the 80s when the local radio station played it every night at the same time. I can't believe I'm watching the video for the first time 37 years later. After getting married and raising 3 kids since I wonder where the hell did all those years go. Happy times......that definitely pass too quickly.
