- How To Replace Carbon Brushes in Your Bosch Drill in easy steps.
You can fix your own drill when the carbon brushes get worn out. Start by purchasing the right sizes and start working.
In this video I demonstrate how you can repair and replace your carbon brushes.
Several ways to know your carbon brushes need changing are;
1. Your drill will start making rough noises
2. Above normal sparks are produced when drilling.
3. Your drill stops and starts randomly and might need a small nudge to work.

Thanks. I love your previous solution of padding the brush out with little bits of wood.

Wow
can you explain carbon brushs model specification plz?
Hi check the drill model number . This should be on the box you bought it in or on the side of your drill.
That number should guide you on what specific carbon brush to buy. Go ahead and search that on amazon , aliexpress or the brand dealer
My machine just like you said. On off on off stopping starting. Is it always the carbon brush problem. Or is it armature coil ?
Might also be the armature coil. You have to troubleshoot first . Check the carbon brush first , if its worn.
The problem with the machine is opening it as if repairing the whole of it.
As long as you can put it back together I see no problem with that. These machines need maintenance like re greasing and you might also discover other problems like worn out chuck or an armature that needs replacing
