You're excellent at explaining the features. At 1:26 you spoke about the one fingered and three fingered chords. What do you need to do to change from..one finger to three finger chords?
I'm surprised that casio is still selling keyboards with this quality of sound which you could get back in 2006, but there's a pretty good reason for that, the ctk710 was a desaster because it was the subject of a product recall

Hi Colonel Jay.. do you know if it's possible to change the chord split point on the keyboard. We checked out at ctk3200 a few days ago. It seemed like it wasn't possible. I husband like to play three finger chords. It seemed to allow only one finger chords .. I'm sure there was some way of changing the setting.. could not figure it out

It only has 49 keys, the real piano has 88. You won't really be able to practice all songs since a lot of notes are missing. I have this keyboard at home and I would personally rather just get a cheap (but decent) digital piano that has all 88 keys. This one doesn't sound very pleasant either, in my opinion. The keys are also very light and it doesn't feel like a real piano when you press them. It depends on what you're aiming for really, but I personally would rather go for a cheap digital piano with all 88 keys, as a beginner.
Lea K. A 61 key keyboard with a 32 note polyphony should be enough, I've been playing piano for 15 years and I regularly gig with a Casio ctk 558, Yamaha ypt 240, Casio ctk 500, Yamaha psr 225, and I have a story and Clark console and a samick console piano(that i keep in mint condition) at home, and I have a Williams rhapsody digital piano as well, but those Cheapo keyboards that I have, sound just as good as any expensive keyboard when it's coming out of the right amplification system, and they only cost a fraction of the price and they last just as long, and as far as learning technique, nothing beats a real piano, a digital piano can imitate a real piano, but it cannot duplicate it, so in that aspect, digital pianos aren't really all that good for learning on, a digital piano is something you get when you've already established yourself as a Pianist
If your budget is that restricted, i would suggest not buying this one but at least Casio CTK-1500 or Startone MK-200 (for just 15/20 Euros more). Big differences : Both have 61 keys (instead of 49), 32 polyphony (instead of 12), touch senstivity, sustain, more options, better sound and better speakers as well. This is the very strict and cheapest minimum for a beginner :).
Thank you so much sir for demo, but I would like to say you that you are touching the buttons so hardly and with so pressure, it feels me hurt, i think you should press it like it is your girlfriend, so...softly
oh god, that shadow on your neck makes you look like a vampire

A little trick: if you press the + and - buttons at the same time, it will set the instrument to default-piano

I have feeling it does dat for all keyboards
I'm after a cheap little keyboard to add layers to some guitar instrumentals, and this looks perfect. Great video, ta! :D

How do you get sustain to work on it?
You have to buy a sustain pedal
Can someone please tell me if 1) I can use headphones by any method and 2)if i can connect it to my computer to record the sound
Did you find how to use headphones with this keyboard?
Yes for headphones, No for computer connection.
Can i use it like a midi keyboard ?
Does it have Metronome function?
I have ctk 240 but I can't able to play all keys why, I want to free play this
When turning on the keyboard, there are 3 modes. Normal,Casio chord and fingered. Select normal
good reference for strange bad lighting for my students
HAH!

I think the keys 245 has 61 keys and 240 has 49
Dimension please?
Of course you are from UK...

What is wrong with that
I see it shows the name of.the tones and rhythm style, it doesn't have a metronome?
Does this has an organ sound?
And the second what was the second?
Sounds like my Casio CTK-451.
where is metronom
Nice
Is sensitive touch ?
No
I m sure its a technical detail video but would have been awsome if he played an actual piano not a circus of piano
What is that first song you played??
He played Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 and When the Saints Go Marching In.

Would this keyboard be ideal for adults beginning to learn how to play?
