I think you made a good point by telling that the market is overwhelmed by decks, tarot and oracle (so far I remember in my teenage years I´ve never hear about oracle cards besides Lenormand). Even by going to a normal bookstore the amount of decks you can find is impressive. Years ago it was the simple Raider Wait (maybe in different sizes or packs including book or not). One time I think it is good to have a good amoung to choose from, each person has a different taste, some people understand tarot better by using something else than Raider Wait (just because the pics are talking in a different way to them). On the other hand I think it is hard as this leads again to overconsumption and make people buy much more than they actually need (for example me. First it were view decks now it is a collection just because there is a lot of really nice decks) :D
I agree, there’s always two sides to every story! I love that we have so much choice but it does raise questions about succumbing to consumerism. I’m comfortable with the size of my collection because I can still control it and I’m always honest about what I like (and sometimes I make it a point to not buy a deck I know I wouldn’t enjoy). I think we all need to find joy in our habits and that’s the most important thing 🥰
Wonderful decks, Sylvia! I'm always talking about the Knight-Waite Tarot on my channel because it is one of my favorite decks. I bought the large hard back guidebook as well, and it is great. I didn't know about the Sacred Nature Oracle, but it's now on my to buy list. Just found out today that there will be a new Oracle of Asha Frost at the end of the year. A wonderful animal Oracle. I use her first Oracle a lot, the sacred medicine Oracle. Hi Silvia! The Influence of the Angels and the Mystical Healing ~ I've got both and they've survived every declutter! They look great together! I'd use the I of A more except the cardstock is hard for me to shuffle. Wish they'd make this one with more flexible cardstock, but it's one of the few decks that I think actually probably looks better glossy than it would in a matte linen. I've hesitated getting Kat Black's Golden Tarot in the matte linen for that reason as well ~ always enjoy your pairings but the IA/MH combo was great!

Without being melodramatic... ok, maybe just a little, the Creative consciousness saved my life! I used it for my daily card pulls when I was going through some tough stuff and it really helped me through! Have you got the Vice versa Tarot? Also by Lo Scarabeo. Really excellent deck, especially with the possibility to read either the front of the back of the cards. Check it out!
Oh yes, I have the Viceversa Tarot, you’re right, it’s very insightful! And there’s nothing melodramatic in saying that a deck has helped you through tough times, I say that v all the time 🥰
That Wheel of Fortune from the first Deck, was from “The Price is Right’ in the U.S., the show is still on and they still use it! 🌟
