I'm so glad I bought this card for 100 bucks and works great no issue I don't cared what people said about this card. Paired with R5 5500 I get warzone 100 plus plus fps.
Bought two of these middle of last year so I could upgrade my AMD 5600G build as well as help my son build his first computer. He plays primarily Rainbow 6 Seige and says it's butter smooth. I have a home theater/retro arcade build and this card has been just what I needed at the price I was willing to pay. With this type of performance even, I just can't see ever spending over $300 for a graphics card.
The best thing about this card is how much you get out of it when you overclock it. My RX6600 can stretch its power about %20, making it basically 6600XT. And I run on 1440p, there is no game so far that I struggled other than Alan wake running on 1440p.
Just got this GPU for my girlfriends build and I think for under $600 she's going to have a pretty good experience with it. I chose to also go with the Ryzen 5 5500 to pair it with.
Just ordered the same card at £130 on sale for exactly the same system and CPU. Nice upgrade from my 1650 super and great for 1080p/1440p bedroom PC on LG OLED 27.
in my local used marketplace i found a used pc in an itx coolermaster case * cube case * with aorous b450 150$ motherbaord ryzen 3600 and gtx1660ti oc itx model for 340euros and the guy told me i can send it to your house aswell no need to travel 50 km away he seemed pretty legit with the offer and offered me to install windows and sdd for me since hte pc didnt have them * cuzz he used them for his new pc* and he told me no one else is intrested in the pc at the moment so i can put the sale on hold for you currently saving cash to purchase it cant wait and the case supported 210 mm gpus glad the rx6600 is 200mm i might hand over the gtx1660ti to my brother for his own pc then
Your CPU is absolutely going to be dragging down that GPU's performance; which is clear to me when you said you were getting some major stutters. The 6600 is pretty good but you need to pair it with at least a 5600 and up (if we are talking about AMD) or Rocket Lake and up if we are talking Intel. Better with Alder Lake and up.
@@Haywood-Jablomie Try switching to QHD on this rig. Less PCI lanes because of 4600G, less bandwidth because of PCI 3.0 with an x8 GPU in it... Most likely, this is only a 1080p eFPS rig. I wouldn't rely on SAM as well. I like the RX 6600, and I'm an RX 6650 XT owner myself, but this one does not look balanced enough.
@@korosoid I'm not saying that the CPU/Motherboard aren't an issue, but they aren't MUCH of an issue with this GPU and CPU combination when it comes to an uncomfortable bottleneck... most of the time in his tests, the CPU is hovering around 60% usage while the GPU is hovering around 95% usage. At QHD, wouldn't it just rely more on the GPU thus making the CPU even less of a bottleneck ???
What is better Intel Arc A580, AMD Radeon RX 6600 or RTX 3060 12GB what is the best bro? I want to start gaming on my lenovo yoga and need some power via thunderbold :)
I’ve got the same setup as you, but instead I got the 5600g and 32gigs of ram. But I can’t get my GPU utilization higher and on fortnight I only get ~70 fps… idk what to do.
Guys, games like fortnite, cs2 (fps) are cpu demanding, a ryzen 5 4600g its not that good for this kind of games, so if you are a competitive player i reccomend you to paired this graphics card with a ryzen 5 5600 or better
Can you make a video or something about your GPU settings please? I can’t get my GPU usage higher then ~50 percent and for games like Fortnite I’m only getting 65 fps, but I have the same set up as you except I have the 5600g like you recommended in the last video… help please!
I used all default settings. You can try updating GPU drivers with the AMD tool. If that doesn't help, check your display settings to ensure you have the highest refresh rate. Also, it might be in the game settings, so make sure to disable vertical sync. I was thinking about creating a new PC setup tutorial video. We'll see! Thanks
I’d go with AMD. Software support for a lot longer and they don’t hate their customers like nvidia does. Nvidia literally disabled dlss on previous gen cards that were fully capable of running it just to try and force people to buy the latest generation cards lol
I found a pc for £200 that comes with an intel i5 4460 a 1650 super 8gb ram 1tb harddrive with room for a ssd and 600w power supply. Should I buy it and if I should what upgrades should I make on it?
Hey @Tech.Closet, my setup is a ryzen 7 3700x, rx 6600, 32gb 3200mhz ram, noctua l9x65 (my case will only fit low profile cooler) and crucial p3 pcie gen 4.0 ssd, i also have corsair sf 750w power supply, how do you think i should upgrade, or is it good how it is? Much love and thanks for making great content for us 😊❤
Avoid apus when your adding a gpu, it offers only 8x lanes instead of 16x, so it's pcie 3.0 at 8x instead of 16x I have the 3400g and and a rtx 2070 and im running into alot of issues like shown on screen even in intensive games the cpu/gpu utilization is just horrible Not mention I had to switch to a sata ssd beacuse it didn't boot with both gpu and m.2 ssd 😂

I've had mine for just over a week. I got a really good price on a new card. I've upgraded from a RX 580 and I couldn't be happier.

I just bought a RX 6650XT for 229€. Totally worth it as a temporary card before the launch of RX 8000.
Just got one 2 weeks ago. Amazing how this was cheaper than my old RX 570 (currently like $400) despite being significantly more powerful.
