New Cabin Air Filter from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ic/ACCAF00001
This video shows you how to replace the cabin air filter in your 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Cabin air filters clean the outside air coming into your vehicle through the AC and Heat system. Like all other filters, they need to be replaced periodically. Check your filter at every oil change, or if you sense any strange or off-putting odors.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

5.5 mm is a fancy word for 7/32
Simple and easy explanation. Thank you
My truck doesn't have this. It's a 2006 silverado extended cab z71. Guy at parts store says my year doesn't have one. Why would that be? How do I get the bad odor out from vents? Wouldn't make sense why they list my year as compatible with this filter/process yet then I open it up to find there isn't one.
Thanks, good explanation.
Do the 2006 chevy 5.3 have a cabin?
I have a 2005 gmc and it does have a cabin air filter but I have no idea how to take it out, if you take the resistor out then in that hole you can see the filter
Mine is located in the glovebox. 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 Classic Body.
I have a ‘04 Z71 and I can’t find the filter. This video is good, but it is so close that I am not sure where you are. I took my cover off under the glove box and didn’t see this area. I had to replace the fan control module anyway.
Why skip removing the panels?
❤
Where can I buy that cover at?
+@specialopsgames6110 We do not sell the cover you are looking for. We suggest checking at a local auto parts store.
Not entirely TRUE 🤨 2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS doesn't have a cabin air filter. Even though Bizzarly...there's an actual filter being sold online.
Dude you have to show us the area that your working in 😐
Underneath here? Where is “here”
What is the number for the filter? Geeze
Most useless how to video ever! Where is the area on the truck where this is?
