So wonderful to see Poppy again. Especially today as I am poorly myself with an injury. Miss Poppy does not look 100% but I am so glad she is feeling better and is well enough to podcast again. Everyday a little closer to normal. That’s what I tell myself and it’s good encouragement for Miss Poppy too. 😊

Hearing Miss Poppy purr makes my heart happy 🥰 . I am glad that they gave her some medicine and you some answers. It's heartbreaking when our furry friends are ill. Your starflanket is beautiful. Ah poor Miss Poppy but so glad to see her in her usual place again. My niece had pancreatitis last November and spent 8 weeks in hospital xx

She's better with the food but the dish/feeder is taking a little longer! She's very wary of it still x
Poppy is the prettiest cat, her colour markings are so fabulous. We also have a high maintenance fur kid who needs gel in her eyes twice a day and her paws need to be wiped. Actually I think she has an allergy which we have to get to the bottom of. Luckily she’s a cuddly small dog so gets many brownie points for being so cute.

I’m another one that had a terrible time with the lace section of the HKAL - had to pull back/tink back 3 different times. Was so happy to finally finish it and have the right number of stitches 😅
So glad poppy is feeling better, our old dog had it for years and was given tramadol, by the time they developed the test for animals he ended up on insulin injections twice a day for the last 2 years of his life but he lived to 14.still miss him ❤
Poor Poppy! I'm so sorry she was in pain all that time but it was good that you were persistent in trying to get her help. Shame on that Vet for trying to make you feel guilty when she would have gotten help much sooner if they had listened to you. I hope she continues to feel better every day. It's good to see her again!

I’m having trouble with the same arrow lace. It has almost caused me to quit. I’m thinking about trying to chart it . Am so sorry about Poppy. Glad she’s recovering. Sounds like it will be a long slog.😢😊
She's so much better already! If we can keep her on this special food exclusively, we should be able to prevent it flaring up again 🤞xx
Beautiful shawl
Very happy to see Poppy back in her usual spot and that they've figured out what was going on with her! Nobody is going to notice your lace issues on your shawl. (And if they do, they are standing too close and you need to tell them to back up!)
Aww poor poppy bless her and the way she looked at Mandy I had to tell cat all about poppy and I think he understood but I would be gutted xx

That starflanket is going to be worth the knitting it’s stunning and I love the colour combo. It’s lovely to see Poppy again too, she was adorable looking at you with such love, how frustrating with the vet I would have had to phone back and tell them how upset / cross I was. One or our passed cats was very large and the vets were always telling me off but he was fed by half the neighbourhood I reckon and I just got the flak and paid the bill !! Anyway I still miss him the great big galumph - he used to have to wiggle his bum to get through the cat flap 🫣 xx
Sounds like my Lily! I dread going to the vet with her, they always have a go about her weight. But I do know she shouldn't weigh more than a stone, short of wiring her jaws up, I don't know what else to do lol! She is also fed by the neighbours and will forage for herself. She partial to a bit of stale bread left out for the birds, as well as raiding homes for foil packets of cat food 🤦♀️🤷♀️
Our calico cat has eye patches too but they are the opposite colors. She is also mostly white like Poppy.
Poppy is such a beautiful girl, so glad she is feeling a little better, pets are your baby’s, I have 2 boys both 11 now and I worry about them constantly with one thing or another x

That is good news that you have found out what is wrong with Poppy so now at least you can give her wha she needs. Frankly, we would probably all be happy to just watch Poppy!
I am a bigamist knitter - always a large project like a blanket and then a small project … nearly always a pair of socks. I find that this way, I do not get bored, and I still have some projects that are finished.
The colours in the cardi (I am from Cheshire, so yes, it IS a ‘cardi’!) are beautiful.

Poppy is so lovely! I pray cat pancreatitis is not as painful as humans have ❤ the feeder sounds really cool though.
I think it is unfortunately 😕 that's why she was hiding away and not letting us touch her. Poor baby girl 😥
I also make a lot of Stephen's shawls. I also have to just "go with it" sometimes on one of his sections. They get so busy. I always just go with it after awhile. Also, wanted to mention that I have 3 dogs and 1 also has many things wrong with his liver, therefore we also have to feed them all seperate now because he is on special food which cost me $5 a day just for him because he needs the lowest protein I can get. I feel you.
