Samsung has already released Galaxy S22 ultra successor as well but the price difference make the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra a very compelling choice for many in 2023. Samsung has equipped Galaxy S22 Ultra with snapdragon 8 gen 1 processor, insane zoom camera system, great screen and great battery life. S22U is the best bang for buck right now IMO. I also like the more rounded edges. Just found a mint 512 example on ebay for 480. N20U and S21U were both around 380ish for a similar nick. I don't find the battery to be that bad. It's no SDg2 or g3, but it's far better than my experience with the 888.
Just made exactly the same decision myself, looks like a great pckage for the savings.
I bought an excellent grade, renewed, 256g in black, with a years insurance for 409 uk pounds.

Best phone ever. Battery last almost 3 days if you put unused apps to deep sleep.

where i live the S 22 Ultra is still way expensive between 800-1000 USD if not more. so i chose infinix zero 30 5G and am happy with it though am samsung user

Would you suggest selecting this phone over the Galaxy S23 or any other phone in the same price range? Or would you recommend going for the S23 Ultra?
Bro the s22 ultra is honestly good. Given a chance get it.
I would pick S22 Ultra over anything at the current price its selling at which is $900 down from $1500. But if you have the money to buy the S23 ultra. I will suggest you to wait a few more weeks to get the S24 Ultra.
S22 ultra is worth the money. I also have the smaller S22 but it doesn't have the same level of smoothness in performance and display and the spen features definitely gives it an extra layer or premium.

I updated my S22 Ultra to ONE UI 6 and the battery lasts longer because in device care Samsung makes the phone management of the apps and processes in the background more efficient and that saves battery. And this is an almost 2yr old smartphone I'm super happy. 😊👍🏻

Cameras are great too, a lot of your photoshooting is personal preference , whether you want saturated colours or more true to life.
Even the Exynos processor does his job perfectly.

Agree. S25 ultra might get a bigger 1” sensor, a major reason for me to switch.
You're just like me in choosing not to update to OneUI 6.0.
Usually these big updates do something wrong to the device. On top of that when the new features aren’t worth it I might as well stay away from it..
I updated my s22 ultra to one ui 6.0 and there's no problem in it. The major difference is the camera app and other display customizations.
