  • Are you wondering how your settlement will be broken down and paid out? In this video, Tyson explains what you can expect to see on your settlement distribution sheet and more. Check it out.
Attorney Tyson Mutrux is licensed in Missouri, Illinois, and U.S. Federal Courts. Tyson takes his role seriously in representing clients in cases involving serious injury claims. In 2014, he became a member of The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers and the Top 40 Lawyers Under 40. In 2015, he was awarded membership into The Nation’s Top One Percent of Attorneys by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. In 2012, Avvo also rated Tyson “Superb” (10 out of 10).
Tyson’s experience in personal injury gives his clients a distinct advantage over the representation provided by other private practice attorneys. Tyson handles cases all over Missouri and Illinois, mostly in Central and Eastern Missouri. He provides pro bono legal services for military veterans and has also been heavily involved with The Missouri Bar.

My attorney got 25k and only paying me 4500 but I told him I will complain to bar then he increased to 7600, but still he is not revealing the breakup or invoices and forcing me to accept the money

If you changed attorney's during the process how long does the first attorney have to advise the second attorney of their fees?

There’s no rule that says they have to give their fees within a set amount of time, but it’s in the interests of the first attorney to do it ASAP. If the second attorney settles the case without the first attorney sending over their fees, the first attorney could be out of luck.

@@MutruxFirmInjuryLawyers Every case I have settled over the years, rather against a school district, car accidents, or personal injury at my college. I always was, given my breakdown, without asking. So, my guess is it depends.

My case was pretty simple.....I settled out of court two weeks ago.....I was told I'd get a call to come down to the lawyers office to sign the check. I'm assuming that should be soon? I have Medicaid so I know they'll put a lien on what is owed to them...my attorney gets 40 percent ...then I get the remainder.

My attorney has been paid in full. Does he get settlement then pay me or do I get paid from defendant?

I’m concerned that my lawyer is not putting my interests in front. He made the apology for not doing that n working in other peoples stuff. Just hoping he didn’t get my money n just not paid me. Been 3 years n he says he had to defile the case a couple times

It’s pretty cut n dry. My client has a bond. I have paperwork to prove they owe me money n I think he been to court n still nothing. Commented my last client did not show up for court n mentioned he had a building he could force them to sell/auction. I don’t understand

The money should go into the firm’s IOLTA account, which is an account monitored by the bar. Then all funds should be disbursed from that account.

Currently a John Doe , settling for a 27.6. Taking home around 16 after contingency fees. They can go to the hundreds of millions.
