- Extremely lucky to land this fish, especially on 6 pound braid, 8 pound leader and a 2.5in slim swim (on a 1/6 1L jig head) Couple other species and various bust offs as well.

If it was continuing to breed it would be out on the reef or seawall not near land locked in a pond off the river

why are you wasting your time with such light gear. you would be leaving soo many fish with lures in their mouths because you cant think properly
I've found not thinking properly works pretty well for me when its midday and fish are concentrated on smaller baitfish. 'Wasting my time' with light gear seems to catch me a lot more fish and got you to waist your time watching this video.
Yet here we are watching him land a solid jack, it's a fight not a skull drag
