Hello nina, just came home , spend the day on the riverside, swimming with a friend. It was lovely, this week will be nice and warm, soooo happy with that. Then came home and a video from you, perfect day. Love this booklet, really. This work is what we made me a follower, it has inspired me to do what I do....thank you so much. Hello Lena, it’s sounds as if you had a lovely day yesterday by the river. Our summer has been the worst I can ever remember. We had that warm spell back in June for 3 weeks and since then it has rained non stop! Yesterday was horrible and we endured torrential rain all day! The benefit is that the grass looks nice and lush! Toby has made a good recovery, but has to be kept calm for another week or so. We are going to Wales next weekend for the bank holiday and we’re taking Toby with us. Just hoping the weather will be kind to us so we can take him on some nice long walks and for a play on the beach. Anyway, glad you enjoyed the video and wishing you a wonderful weekend. Thanks Nina, I am glad to hear there was no problem from Toby's surgery that caused the lack of video on Sunday. I hope he is doing better. Your pages and cover are wonderful, you have the best eye for picking pictures to use and put together. This journal is beautiful too!
Hello Debbie, glad to say Toby has made a good recovery. He’s allowed out on walks again, but still needs to be kept reasonably calm for another week or so, so no tug of war games for him yet! Hope you have a wonderful weekend 💕

I forgot about this project. It has been awhile. Today's pages are incredibly beautiful, and the cover is gorgeous! I love that you used used those lovely quotes and backed them with butlap. Glad Toby is recovering nicely, too! TFS. 🥰🙏

Wow, Nina, the person who wrote the message beneath mine has summed you up very well indeed. Yup, the video was lovely. I remember watching you make several pages in your journal over time and it was great to see it reintroduced. Eclectic = inspiring, seem to me to go together well. I love the black and white pages, especially the gorgeous cat but it's all really well done and interesting. So I’ve seen signature for year till I came across you so I started the string thing instead cause it’s so much easier to work on loose page but I do prefer the elastic as the string always tears my pages specially if I put anything thinner..
You need to make sure the string isn’t too tight 💕
Im just plucking up the courage to start collage. I love the idea of the ink to tone down the white edges. I wonder what the ink and tool that you use is?

Hello Dawn, glad this has given you some inspiration. The ink I used is Distress Ink by Tim Holtz and the tool was a cheap make up brush from Amazon that came in a set for around £5.

Oh yes Sophie of course you can. There are only a handful of members in the group that have UA-cam channels. Most of our members just enjoy sharing their work and following along with the prompts and challenges. It’s a very inspirational group. I hope you’ll join us ❤️
