I’m always blown away by what you accomplish with a Daphne Diary magazine Nina. You repurpose a beautiful product into another “show-stopping” work of art. ❤
Thank you so much Nina, I really really enjoyed watching you create these amazing and stunning page’s for your Daphnes Diary journal. You always inspire me and I’m sure everyone too. And your so right, Unless we use these magazines, they do sit around gathering dust don’t they ? I really really love ❤️ what you’ve done today, and you really are incredibly talented and clever too. I really really love ❤️ the acetate tag, so cute and adorable too. Sunday’s are my Nina fix. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤❤❤
Nina - your sweater matches your tag which, btw, I love. In fact, I love all your special journals!!! And the journals themselves are so neat and tidy. Just lovely. I’m so glad u share with us. I take a great deal of inspiration from u! Linda C.
Everything you do is absolutely beautiful! You are just so creative! I have tried several of the things you do but mine didn’t turn out very well. I’m not giving up tho, I’m going to keep trying. I’m new at junk journaling so I don’t have a lot of the things everyone on the videos seem to have. I’m hooked tho! Thank you for sharing your creativity with us!
I agree. When I first started making journals I didn't have much supplies either but you can still make beautiful art! Also I found when I compared what I made to others it never seemed to look right. I am sure yours look great too and it does take time to develop a style. Keep going and enjoy the process ❤
Wow! What a great issue of Daphne’s Diary! So many ideas found inside. I love your pages you did using some of the elements! Thanks for sharing your creativity and inspiration! Have a great day! 🙂
Beautiful pages Nina! I just received my copy of Number 3 - 2023 this past week and you've given some great inspiration and creative flow for using it's content in my journal. Thanks so much for always sharing your wonderful ideas. xx
Your pages are outstanding! You always have such unique ideas. Thanks for the flip through! It is a gorgeous magazine with phenomenal art work in it. Have a beautiful week! TFS. 🥰🙏
Good morning nina, this DD I was gifted on my birthday and it has really the most beautiful papers in it. Loved the acetate tag you made, this journal iis going to be so nice. Hope that you are fully recovered again. We are in for a very warm day , summer has arrived big time. Forgotten are all the rainy, grey and chilly days., can't tell you how glad I am.. Last sunday I was in Amsterdam for the Harry Stylesconcert and really it has made me smile the whole week. I wish you a sunny sunday and a wonderful week, big hug and kisses lenaxxx
Hello dear Lena, glad to hear you have this edition too, it really is packed with beautiful images isn’t it. The weather has been glorious here over the weekend and the forecast is great for the rest of the next week to 10 days. Long may it continue. Sending love and hugs. Nina 💕 xxxx
Really beautiful. So creative. I think I will join you. I’ve seen you do this for a couple of years and I love Daphne’s Diary. I do make junk journals out of them, but now you’ve really inspired me to try this one time. Love from the Netherlands
So very happy to see this video! I just bought this issue and now looking forward to cutting it up! Watching your video has given me so much inspiration 😊 Thank you ☺️
In an earlier video you had a PUNCH JAM I had one jam yesterday. I knew it worked because I tested it in the thrift shop. PICKED out everything I could. Then SOAKED it overnight in water. Still jammed but more paper came out. This is a tiny design corner punch. Plan B, I DROPPED it on the cement sidewalk until whatever was making it stick was knocked loose. Rough solution but if not fixed, I'd have to throw away. Jam, Pick, Soak, Drop.
Wow, such talent and I love when you stroll through your journal too. Hopefully you didn't get plagued by those awful bees that are swarming around your home at the moment. Tfs x
I love your additions to the Daphne's Diary Journal and I agree there is never too many butterflies 🦋 🦋 I spent a few hours with Mom on Wednesday and talked to the Hospice Nurse, the wellness director and others and we all agreed that she was shutting down. I am glad I had that time because she left us Thursday morning. I am doing okay, I am sad for me but happy for her to be out of pain. Thanks for all the hugs you have sent her these last few years.
The struggle to find Daphne's Diary this month was ridiculous, my daughter went to WHSmtihs 3 times, with the help of a member of staff they found it in the car magazine section, they think someone had moved them to purchase later !! I love the acetate tag you made today, so unique. Thanks for the inspiration. I Hope you are recovered from your illness x

I’m assuming you mean the acetate tag? The butterflies are now encased within the acetate and are of course shiny, but the butterfly in the backgrounds is still matte. The tag simply sits inside the pocket and can be removed to uncover the background.
Hi Nina, I love your journal and all the gorgeous things from your Daphney's Diary. I have that edition too - and there's only about 4 pages left!!! They're too gorgeous to leave in the magazine in a cupboard aren't they😊!!! That tag is beautiful and the stitching just completes the look. Thank you for sharing your lovely ideas with us. I'm so glad that you are better now, after your bout of Covid - it's kind of the new flu now isn't it, and I suppose we have to live with it, but it knocks you for six doesn't it. Great to have you back, and well too. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, and have a superb week ahead too. xx❤😊
I love when you work on your Daphne’s Diary journal! The way you think to use what’s in the magazine gives so much inspiration. Thanks so much!

How did you make your dpbook?
Hi Helen, here is the link to the video: ua-cam.com/video/YOcX2O5ArHk/v-deo.html
Is it gloss paper now?
