Hey woah woah woah, first off, I love MJ. Second of all, this isn't a video of my favorite songs. Here are all the years MJ was in the top 5 songs of the year: 1983- Billy Jean and Beat it 1991- Black or White
Thoughts on before the 50s, Swing Era, Jazz Age, and even back to 1900? I’m 15 and I listen to lots of classic rock, 50s rock and roll which might sound normal for someone my age. But I also love music from the swing era, roaring 20s and even music going back to 1900. People need to learn to appreciate this because the old stuff is real music and much better than the crap we have today.
You've made excellent choices! I totally agree with the songs you think were popular through the years. I really like how you chose Stand By Me, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Satisfaction, Bohemian Rhapsody, Smells Like Teen Spirit, and Crazy. These are some of my favorite songs but my one suggestion is change 1941 to Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy by the Andrews Sisters. Overall, great project!
can i just say that i'm OBSESSED with your channel? I have such a thing for old music and now i can find music that's older than my grandparents! thanks ^_^
How many times do I have to tell you people that I don't make the lists!?!?!? Yes, she is good, and she would have been in 1997 if it weren't for Elton John's "Candle in the Wind." I also had to keep the video under 15 minutes because at the time that was the longest I could go. And about the titles, fine. I'll put in the titles.
there should be a version of this, but with the original recordings on all of them, because in this video some of the clips were recorded long after the year it says back in 2013, youtube had nowhere near as many old songs uploaded to it as it does now it's one of the actual awesome things about living in this age, that I can listen to music from _any_ age, and a lot of people who complain about "being born in the wrong time" don't realize this

So, yeah I thought you were off on some of these, so I double checked and I was right. These may be the "greatest" in your opinion, but they're not all the top songs from those years.
