- The creation of the 4th Attack Squadron was finalized in December 1981 and it received the A-540 in January 1982, its mechanic in charge being René Mateo Vaizaga.
For the beginning of the hostilities men and planes of the EA4 were promptly seized to carry out all the missions that are required by the superiority. On May 24, returning from a coastguard patrol mission, he crashed 200 meters off the coast of Calera Olivia, managing to eject his young pilot, the Alf. Mario "Jaque" Valko, who failed to survive the impact against the surface of the sea.

This is a pre-Falklands camo scheme, this specific aircraft didn't fly to the islands, but it was in service during the war and definitely was part of the war effort to take control of the "Malvinas", I chose to represent this aircraft because of the unusual and catchy camo, definitely not the average Falklands Pucará.
Overall the kit it's amazing, the only filler I used was on the horizontal stabilizers which left a small gap on the upper join with the tail, other than that, this kit out of the box is the best rendition of a Pucará in this scale, really enjoyed building this model.
For this weird scheme, I used 5 different colors, 3 greens and 2 slightly different shades of gray, the colors used are listed below:

Dark Green 2 RAF (Tamiya XF-81)
Nato Green (Tamiya XF-67)
Japan Navy Green (Tamiya XF-11)
Belly color
Sky Grey (Tamiya XF-19)

This build is absolutely stunning! what a jewel you've done. The one detail that's so sweet is the propellers. A so incredible work that I've decided to suscribe the channel. About the airplane, it's a beauty, not a fancy one like the Tucano that also is a beauty but Pucará is absolutely surpassing beautiness. Great work.

Yup, I let the wash dry completely, with Tamiya panel liners we're talking about 5 to 10 minutes, later you can use a paper towel and remove it with a soft motion

I think the models that come with the pilots bring more life to these models. Great 👍🏼 though. Consider the monogram with pilots..

Have some patience with the airbrush. You seem to rush every single spray on the model which in turn creates color splashes and incoherent spray patterns. Also lower your PSI and try to learn to spray closer.

Not a wise comment mate. It alters the real facts. A diorama showing a blowpipe missile chasing a Pucará during the landing of British troops in San Carlos Bay would be truly more creative.
