Great review! Glad you liked it and good luck this season!
Thanks! You guys as well!
I'm fixing to order one Friday and I can't wait to use it the rest of the season 💪🦌
Great video man, looking to buy this pack myself.
Great review man! I’ve got this pack as well and absolutely love it. Good luck this season!
You too man!
Nice review. Tnx!
Ordered the Cays 2.0 but ended up sending back and buying the platow pack. Cays was a great pack but just to big for what I needed
Nice definitely could use a pack like that 👍
Any way you can provide more pictures of hooking up the predator pack? I have the XL would love to attach it properly.
I'm putting out a video here soon where I talk about gear changes and some mods I did to the platow pack and I'll make sure and show that.
unheard of 2 drink holders!!
When you one stick how to you carry/haul in your repel line?
I use one of the fleece pouches you can get at doublesteps.com. Here is a video where i go into more detail on my setup ua-cam.com/video/FDbBlZu6J0k/v-deo.html
Did the Predator pack attach directly to the buckles of the Platow Pack? Or did you have to modify the straps?
It did attach directly. I imagine if you used some nighteyes gear ties to secure the bottom end of the platform from flipping when you bend over it would probably work pretty good.
will the Trophyline EDP fit inside predator pack from Tethered
Nice
I'm lookin hard at this pack. Magnet doesn't seem to hold at all, that needs addressed.
Yea i'm thinking because of how low the pocket is on the pack along with how tight it is against the outside, just seems to negate the functionality of it. If it was bigger and did't fit so tight i'd defiantly use it.
For me, it’s perfect. Once I’m up, packs hanging on the tree, I now have a zipper less silent pocket I can utilize for my grunt call, my bleat can, and phone. Really it can be used for what ever but I think it’s mostly for once your up and being able to access regular stuff quickly and quietly without “ziiiiiiippppp” or the god awful noise of Velcro or the effort of buckles
How did you attach the predator pack to this one? I’m sure I could figure it out but if you have a method, I’d love to know. Thanks!
@@Allegiance_Outdoors at first I was running it from the strap loops on the predator pack, I got sick of the pack in general because for me, it serves no purpose of anything besides being a pocket for the platform. So I literally just use the two buckles on the should straps to hold the platform on and that center strap to the main bag to keep it from smacking me in the head when bending down. When I get to the tree I can unbuckle the sticks from underneath as well as the buckle to the main pack without removing it, then when im done climbing I reach each shoulder and detach my platform. It’s super easy especially after you have everything dialed in
@@flounderwetspot8524 awesome, and thanks for the reply. So you switched to running your stick(s) on the bottom?
Can you climb up the tree with the pack still on your back or does it get in the way of your saddle?
I climb with it on. You can adjust the straps so that it sits above your saddle.
@@bpwhitetails oh sweet! Thanks!
Link to everything but the pack ? Or maybe I messed it 🤷
I probably missed it.lol bit.ly/2XZW76h
Can you still wear your saddle and have the pack on? Or do you pack your saddle in it?
I always wear my saddle in with me. If you adjust the straps so the pack sits a little higher on your waist it doesn't really get in the way.
@@bpwhitetails awesome thanks! Just need the pack to get back in stock!
Do you wear your saddle in and does the pack interfere.?
Yes I do wear my saddle on the way in. I can adjust the pack high enough to where it's not an issue. The bottom of the pack will almost rest on the top of my saddle.
What kind of gear hoist is that?
It is the Doyles Gear Hoist with the custom molle pouch from doublesteps.com
Why does the camera man keep going in and out of focus and moving so kuch
