Thursday's needs to release a high end brand with leather insole / midsole. I would buy a pair in every leather. I'm OKAY paying more for natural materials in a pair of shoes / boots !
Have you looked into Grant Stone? They are better than Thursday’s and they use all leather. In my honest opinion, GS is far superior than Thursday’s but they are more expensive that for sure but you get what you pay for so there’s an option for ya. Also, I started a GS boot subreddit if you’re interested in joining. We are almost at 1000 members and we’re not even a year old yet. There’s a ton of valuable info on my subreddit for you to do some research. Good luck!
That probably would be the cost of a pair of Truman’s if it was a brand new pair of boots. Though, the recraft definitely costs 2.5x times the cost of those boots brand new. That’s a heck of a job.
@@papayafigure I'm doing a lot of fine stitching at my shop like dress shoe soles for example. I don't want to risk damaging my machine by sewing through the heavy lugs
You're a legend Dale! That was njce gesture Tommy did fpr you and I was honored to play my part!
Yes Pablo is a good craftsman,
Thanks for the shoutout Dale
Thank you Steve
Awesome looking boots, welt stitching looks flawless and a lot stitches per inch too. Beautiful
Love to see not just your own leatherwork, but also more of the community behind this.

Seriously. Basically do what Bordon does for the $350-400 price point I’d be getting a new pair every fall/winter

Is there a reason why he didn't stitch through the outsole?
Because my machine isnt calibrated like the PNW companies

I want to know who makes that nice denim you are wearing.
nevermind the boots, thats a nice apron
That boot now has sentimental value for you. For the average person, that would not be a a good way to spend $500.
It might actually. Instead of the boots lasting 3 years now they will last 10.
Personally…..i like the original form.
