It's always such a trip to see certain characters again starting out in Season 1.

Interesting that in the comics Yondu had his hand cut off too. Different version of Yondu than the movies.

17:34 lol. Well at least she was honest, saying she, Leah & Nicole were drinking half the time and she doesn't remember everything with the show. If she did, she'd remember she got to season 7 instead of 5.
That moment, when Rick was reunited with his wife and son reminds me of the moment from season 2, episode 2 of The Walking Dead video games, when Clementine was reunited with Kenny. A beautiful, joyous moment!
So happy to find your reactions! As far as Carol goes, I don't think she was crying because she loves Ed or feels like she deserves to be abused. I'm pretty sure it's because she's terrified of her husband and knows that he'll blame her for what happened and will find a way to make her pay for it, so to speak. Shane's beat-down may keep him in line for a bit, but I think Carol knows Ed will eventually lose his temper again and do something without even thinking about the potential consequences.
So excited you are doing this!! I know I’ve said this already. But don’t worry Mom & Kim…the show ends up focusing more on the characters and their relationships as the show goes on. And you end up getting used to the zombies in a weird way. I have many friends who can’t watch horror and are super squeamish…and are big fans of this show.
Also the gore and scary moments are as frequent as these earlier seasons go on. Though of course there are moments sprinkled in.

Ah, the introduction to one of my favorite characters from anything ever. Daryl, my beloved.
This episode takes place on days 60 - 61 after the Zombie Apocalypse began.
Rick woke up from his coma ( in premiere ) on day 59. He's been awake 2 days.

Shut up. Stop spoiling how characters turn out. Saying that the obvious asshole gets development kinda ruins the tension for the people actually watching the show for the first time

@@greed42o I would say Season 8 was the REAL downhill of the show. Once Angela Kang took over in Season 9 to now, the show has tremendously done better.
@Zombie Eh, Season 7 was actually good in my opinion. Season 8 was horrible mainly due to the fact that they dragged the living Hell outta the Saviors storyline. The events that took place in 8x16 could’ve easily been pasted in 8x08. But that’s just my opinion.
Only flaw I had with Kang’s direction with the show was making the Whisperer War in the Season 10 finale very lackluster. We didn’t get a comic Andrea level death nor water tower death. But then again the show loves to deviate from the comics. So now I wonder who’s getting who’s comic deaths in this final arc with the Commonwealth. 🤷🏽♂️
