@shoetiquemusic it was cool kind of see what one expects after the 1st minute but aside from the headband and shirt you play it straight and that's pretty original not sure anyone else wouldn't keep using the humor throughout but all you did was make the joke keep the outfit on then gave the info direct and meaningfully. Didn't even close with the same comedic intro style I don't think. That's cool. Can't recall anyone else doing that. Keep making gear vids or whatever you might be onto something
Thumb up! That is my modified diagram you shared in your video, thanks for the shoutout. I made one of these (with tubeswells guidance a long time ago)
Thanks Sergio, I really appreciate it! This is the first time I've heard of one tube reverb! Let me know if this is what you're referring to: Hoffman Amps Thread: el34world.com/Forum/index.php?topic=7957.0 TDPRI Board Design: www.tdpri.com/threads/drop-in-one-tube-reverb.957523/
@@shoetiquemusic Yes, this one, i hope to see thisone in your videos, with your analysis and building notes. I want to add to a Princeton octal amplifier! Regards!
@@shoetiquemusic I play a lot of surf-a-billy-punk style guitar stuff and I use a vintage spec 6G15 I built myself. It's amazing. I love it. I don't always feel like dragging it around though, so I keep in my bag a TC Drip pedal. It's cheap and easy and sounds surprisingly good for surfy drip with a hint of slapback..
@@GL64 I agree that the 6g15 isn't something I want to lug around. I've been messing around with a UA Golden. The drip is pretty good but its almost too pristine. I want my drip to be a little grimy.
The smart aleck sense of humor is much appreciated!
Thanks Pete! It comes from deep well of mental instability!
This is the second video of yours I've seen! Thanks for the no-nonsense approach.
Hell ya Flip! I’ve got plenty more on my channel. Check ‘em out!
I love the funny silly start then straight business
Thanks HandWired! I try to keep things lively!

Hell ya Jonathan! I appreciate you taking the time to put the diagram out there. Glad you stumbled upon the video! What have you been building lately?
@@shoetiquemusic I haven't built anything in a while. But I have a pile of stuff that keeps breaking, so that keeps me busy with the soldering iron.
Really the best guide about 6G15, you earn a suscriber. Please make a video about one tube reverb add on! :D

Great video Sir. What is the vibrato unit on your guitar? It looks like a 'serious bit of kit ' as we say in England!
Good eye Sharon Lee! It's a Sophia Trem - I really like it! I had this one installed while I apprenticed at Stonewall Pickups.
@@shoetiquemusic thanks
Nothing matches the 6G15 for surf drip.
I agree G L! The digital stuff can get you about 85% of the way there but it's no substitute for the OG.
