For some odd reason Chris I didn’t realise this was one of your excellent video until I saw Rosie at a bus stop! It’s good to see the active Bournemouth trolleybus at the museum (it’s in excellent condition…well done to the staff!). Ive been trying to stir up interest to open two new trolleybus routes here in Bournemouth from the Central Station, one to Bournemouth Pier and one to Boscombe Pier…and there are steep gradients to both piers…ideal for trolleybus power demonstrations. Thanks for the video, I’d love to visit the museum but it’s too far for me to drive nowadays. Best wishes, Rob.

Hi Rob. Great museum. We went mainly for the trains but the trams and trolley buses were great so we made the most of our stay. They took me back to when we were very young, riding and watching them........Regards Chris

Great film . I remember the trolley buses in Reading. One of the last places to keep them, they ran until 1970. Lots of trams still here in Germany.

+David Howarth This visit has wet our appetite for another visit to a Tram museum at Crich. We can remember the trams and trolley buses when we lived in the southern part of the country.Just shows they got rid of them to quick as they are now relaying new tracks in many cities of the UK,look at Nottingham, miles of new tracks and trams everywhere.......Best wishes Chris.

We visited in September 2016 an found the staff very friendly. Rode on everything even though I was a kid 50 years ago!! I remember the trolleys in Nottingham as a kid but never rode on a tram for real. This place is a real treat and recommended - history you can touch and ride on. Magnificent. 5*

Hi Chris and Rosie....Now this is right up my Street ! Just love Trams and Trolley Buses. Looks an amazing place...I envied you on the top of the Tram on your ride...My love of Trams started at an early age in Swansea on the Mumbles Train which i went on with my Mother.. It closed in 1960 when i was 4 !! Sacrilage..So short sighted by the then Town Council...The Train name was because it was originally Steam Hauled ,until i think 1929 when it was Electrified. The 'Trains' often ran two Cars together and were double decks capable of carrying around 106 Persons..Best wishes...Steve.-:)
