  • The East Anglia Transport Museum in Carlton Coalville, Lowestoft, is a functioning museum. Many of the trams, buses and narrow gauge railway run every day they are open. They rotate them too, so you may get a different machine.
They have a few static exhibits too including Traction Engines, old carts and coaches, and they have a street scene made up as well.
The seats on the tram are reversable as you will see demonstrated. Power for most vehicles is from overhead wires. The Narrow Gauge Railway has been made by volunteers - they constructed the signal box and station, and the carriages for the locos were made from wheel sets they had from old locos. The blue Tram is from Belgium. Most trams and buses give a clue as to where they run. I am not familiar with the specific types but certainly enjoyed the rides. There are also electric vehicles on display, and art deco tram stop and much more. Not expensive and a great 3-4 hours out. They have a café and gift shop too, reasonable prices.
    Music from ripper Street.

How nice to see Nottingham trolleybus moving. I used to live on Radford along which the 43 ran so it is probable I rode of 578 several times to school, to Trent Bridge and, if I was unlucky, Bulwell Market.

It's a brilliant video, I only wish the music was't so loud and one could hear the actual vehicles and their sounds better! No worries by the way, it's just my preference! great video :))

Would be nice to hear just the vehicles but so often I get people noises instead, hence why music is used instead in these situations. I get what you mean though.
