Not surprised! I just traded in a CX-5 for a CX-50 in a low end trim with the non-turbo engine and can get around 33 mpg
Awesome. I was wondering if I needed to start making a lap around the town, maybe not enough city driving..
But what about non-turbo and 20” tires on PP? Will the tires lower the MPG?
The size of the rims do affect mpg. Generally about 2 MPG
Just got my 24 cx-50 turbo and seem to be getting about 10 to 20 mpg in the city...Is this normal for new vehicles?
Sometimes there is a break-in period, then things begin to settle to more regular numbers but the main to remember. Accelerating activates the turbo which consumes more gas, so try to do more gradual acceleration and not such hard acceleration, as fun as it might be. Lol
Did you fill up with premium or regular octane gas?
