Nice to see a real world flight in a modern efficient aircraft. Well done. I fly a Flight Design CTLSi. With my new E-Prop I get 125 knots at 4.5 gph burning car gas.
I had to watch the vid with auto captions while waiting on a food order and idk if it was radio static or the prop but a number of times it read "applause". Lulz
Beautiful flight! Always flying over my hometown airport (KIPJ) in Lincolnton NC on your way to your shop! Glad you're feeling better and back in the skies!
Hey Mike glad to see you getting comfortable talking to ATC. What I understand, ATC wouldn’t mind the “K” before the airport code for the US. Great stuff, keep’em coming
G,day Mike from Sydney Australia. I'm happy to hear your beaten the flu. 1MG The EGT was high in cruise? Was it the flu or air tribulation that was changing smooth flight on approach? 🍊🌄
Hi Mike my name is Temidayo , I live in the UK 🇬🇧 I have been following you for a while Started my ppl and took my first flight today. Would like you to mentor me please 🙏
I love ❤️ your videos , I can’t wait to watch them as soon as they come out !!! can you make a Video on your channel please !!! can your airplane fly IFR ????? Do you have a ifr rating ????
Probably get a bit more fuel performance if your flaps weren't out of rig. Take a look at the shots showing the gap at the trailing edge between your left wing's aileron and flap. Also, the wind at INT was 240@07, gust 20. Landing runway 22 would have been a 20-degree crosswind. Runway 33 gave you a direct 90-degree gusting crosswind. 3900' of runway (RWY 22) is more than needed for a light, single-engine airplane.
Interesting with the 2 unidentified fast moving targets in these times of approaching UFO disclosure. Could just be military but don't they usually fly with transponders.
I definitely saw 9+ UFO's over Cape Canaveral before a rocket launch a few months back. They were hovering above at high altitude then shot across the horizon at lightning speed. I watched them for 3-4 minutes before they disappeared together. 100% certain.
@Mike - I was watching another YT's RV10 video - on xcountry flight he encountered instrument malfunction ( namely AP, and alt, airspeed glass display) Turned out to be pitot icing. That said, does it draw substantial power (stressing the alternator) to turn on pitot icing after take off, as a preventative safety measure?
It can drain out power or possibly damage if you just turn it on. That said it’s always a good idea to turn it on and test it while you’re the ground. I’ve started doing that too
@@mojogrip In his case he flew into what looks like thick mist (for lack of a better word), and only minutes later the glass instruments and AP became irratic and quit. He flies mostly in Texas, and so wasn't too familiar with icing (IMC?)( I'm not yet a pilot). Isn't there a feature, like with that new kit u just had installed, that could be configured to warn that such possible conditions may exist and pitot heating maybe necessary; thereby taking some worries/workload off the pilot?
Welcome bac my gud brotha. I've been noticing on ur flight followings that u nw say Sling 4 instead of Sling Tsi. Why is that? Maybe u can or something. I seen tha traffic dwn below @ 14:30. Glad u were safe throughout tha entire flight. My 1st cfi did tha same thing of askin rdu tower if we were cleared to land. She said yes. Hope to still meet u soon @ INT along wit brotha Max & tha rest of u all. Fly safe. See ya on tha nxt one. #salute!!!!
Went flying once I stress once with a little cold I flew 2 thousand feet above the ground and when I descended to land my ears closed up and I could not hear for three days. Scared me. Seems like ATC was talking awful fast during this flight. 100 octan av. fuel here in Tucson is $6.50 per gallon this week. Just remember the XM weather is about 20 minutes late on the display. Think that ATC asking you if you see a UFO
I think we are tought here in Denmark that we are not allowed to abbreviate callsign until the controller does it. Is it more liberal in USA or is it more liberal in real world use that text book.
Welcome back Mike! Great to see ya back in the sky! Blessings to you and yours.

Hey Mike glad to see you getting comfortable talking to ATC. What I understand, ATC wouldn’t mind the “K” before the airport code for the US. Great stuff, keep’em coming
Very impressive numbers on the cruise speed versus fuel burn wow!
Go around if you encounter wind shear. You don't wanna be hearing that stall horn 100 feet off the ground.
Congratulations, that's one slick ride! Beautiful airplane!
Airspeeds alive. Let go fly! Always a pleasure bro 🙌🏿
Best pilot channel I’ve found. Awesome videos Mike

"yeah don't see your phantom planes, can I start my descent now???"
Do you have AC in your aircraft or were you just using regular air vents?
How do you record your audio on the earphones
Awesome landing! 😁

It's the same in the USA. Unfortunately, being sloppy is condoned.
ALHAMDULILLAH(SWT), ASTAGHFIRULLAH(SWT).
Great to see you back in the skies again !
