I can't buy into fake smiles from TV programs. That goes double for game shows and talk shows. So when a host is truly smiling I hope it means they really feel they're expressing joy or excitement.

It was a much different world back then and there are relatively few people left now who were adults back then. This fantasy reminds women to guard against going back to such times.
She is not self centered and obnoxious. She makes every attempt to be courteous and cooperate with other people. Sheldon thinks he is the most important and smartest all the time.

I also really enjoyed the novel because I liked the writing style of the author and also I really enjoyed the story lol. I know there were people who didn't enjoy the novel as much as the series because they said the characters were over exaggerated, claiming that scientists wouldn't be that obsessed with science that it would revolve around their whole life. For example. Imo, as an autistic person, I could relate to the idea that you have an intense interest in something that it occupies more of your time as my hyper fixation would probably be History lol and music.
