She certainly redeemed herself in this series, after her avengers role and the subsequent interviews I wasnt a fan, but I watched this anyway and it was really good and well acted.
Thanks to UA-cam a TV series rule (movies too) has been completely disregarded. It's a CREATIVE WRITING 101 thing. And it goes like this: if the story doesn't explain it's own ending properly, it needs to be edited until it does so. YOU, the viewer, need not watch a UA-cam or read a book or experience ANYTHING outside of the piece to make it clearer. Clarity was the writer's job, and it really sucks when TV gets this lazy.
Is this an AI-generated channel? The visuals don't match the audio (and repetitious), and why is it so out of order -- I would've scripted it so that the explanation (including the Tampon portion) was just part of why she left her TV show. And most importantly, it wasn't explained what happened at the end!!! OMG, these vids are popping up all over my feed, but the content is 💩.
Is the narration on this video AI? I can't believe a human would narrate this script this way and it sounds terribly false. Given the nature of the subject matter a real human reading it would have been much more appropriate.
I would love it if they extended this to an altered future in tge 60s and 70s, hey if you can write the hand maids tale, you can write the opposite? The trick is to keep religion out of the story, or maybe confront it? It might be the time- spirituality is the religion of the future!
Why an intelligent, scientifically minded professor would be in front of a class before completing her PHD demands a bit too much imagination suspension, like the equally blonde "That Girl" wig at the end. "That Girl" was a bubble headed, often thirsty, actress wanna be... not the other way around! The mother's explanation was hard to swallow too... still worth seeing on other levels.
Still more odd is that Zott never once expressed a desire to be a teacher -- not in the series or in the book. Quite the opposite in the book. All the series had to do was follow the book. There were huge emotional (and logical) payoffs that did not come through in the series. Unfortunate.
I haven’t loved anything this much sense This Is Us. So much to unpack. So well written. So good! All the feels

What was the song played at the end scene?

She was already a great actress, And you do know it was mostly hate campaign towards her because of wokeness or whatever right?
Captain Marvel is still not a good character. It really downplay her acting.
Tack!

Chats with someone lead to this very meaningful show... seems Brie has a very meaningful body of work.

Why did the school principal lie that Calvin died
Calvin was helping him make moonshine that he sold for money, he wanted Calvin to help him make money
He wanted to keep Calvin as his moonshine producer, he needed him for his knowledge of chemistry and was profiting off of him.
Was he the same guy that lied to Liz and Mad?
The book was quite a fairy-tale but the series has reached a whole new level of being unrealistic...
❤

It is not unusual to have a PhD candidate teach classes in university tho. I had classes with them when I attended university.
