Coating a JBL 2425H diaphragm with Aquaplas.I tinted gray rather than black, because it was left over in my mixing jar. The difference is remarkable. Greg Timbers was said to say, "if it's metal, coat it."..even some JBL beryllium diaphragms are coated.

Have you done this on the JBL/Selenium D220Ti driver? Would it help? I believe it is the same size diaphragm as the 2425, but it is embossed, and uses a different surround shape.

I have not done the Selenium. I've done the JBL 2425, 2445, and Klipsch titanium drivers. Feedback from all users is excellent.
