Liverpool were fantastic at this time, just brilliant passing moves that are a joy to watch- and I think Barnes was arguably one of the very finest players in the world. Thanks for uploading these. Funny to see Ronny Rosenthal playing very well and scoring a lot! I was pretty young in this season, and only remembered, until now, that Rosenthal soon came to be considered a flop. Things must have seemed so bright to him at this point in his career.
This was a superb Liverpool team built over 3 years by King Kenny. We should have won 3 titles in a row and the 2 FA cups but for 2 shocks at home to Arsenal and the Wimbledon FA cup final

Ronnie Rosenthal was a half season wonder. Remember him bursting on the scene then once a fee had been paid he wasn't the same player. Loved seeing Barnes and Beardsley but what a player Steve McMahon was too.
The days when you could draw TEN games, lose FIVE and STILL win the league .... Shows you what Klopp is up against ... Last season we got EIGHTEEN more points than this team, and still didn't win the league. Crazy times.
Well we finally got number 19 & deservedly so! Hopefully this season we can equal the mancs on 20, that's if we can field a team. With the amount of bloody injuries we are getting each & every week & the fact that VAR want to try & take away every goal we score it's a miracle we're still up there at the top competing tbh. Shows how good this team is! BTW fuck Neverton the useless irrelevant thugs, cost us VVD & Thiago, still out for a few more weeks apparently, because of that mug Richarlison's horror tackle which he claims was an "accident", bullshit it was. Anyway at least we can take comfort in the fact that they'll win fuck all again for the millionth season in a row despite spending shitloads over several years now. Honestly why would anyone born in the City of Liverpool genuinely want to grow up supporting those losers? You would have to be a complete moron, seriously. Not only are they perpetual losers but they also play absolute shit on a stick football most years.
The save v utd @ old trafford is one of the best i've seen,it came @ him so quickly and reminds me of a save Andy Goram made v Celtic in 1995 @ ibrox,Liverpool have the best GK now in Allison since Ray Clemence,and Grobbelar on a good day.
I watched this era as a kid and maybe I was naive but I thought Grobbellaar and Hysen were brilliant but the amount of mistakes they made not only in this season but the following my word!!!

Just about every Liverpool goal scored in this upload was better constructed than that one unless you're a big fan of the long ball game.
