Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre: Indigenous Arts and Culture
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 лип 2024
- The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is the first centre of its kind in Canada: two nations came together to celebrate & share their cultures with the world while creating meaningful employment opportunities for members of both the Sk̲wxwú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation, Coast Salish) & Líl̓wat7ul (Lil'wat Nation, Interior Salish) Nations.
Visitors to the SLCC experience cultural regeneration in action as workers share their rich cultures & traditions while refining their skills in drumming, carving, weaving, story telling, button blanket making & more.

Wow! Thanks for the knowledge. 💖Jenn
This place is really cool. We love these type of stops and learning about the history of people. Another thing we love are odd roadside attractions, just like what your channel is all about. You are so close to 1K subs, we got you one closer. This place was pretty empty and that wheel was pretty cool. I need one of those totem poles for our backyard.
Thanks for your support! Can't wait to continue exploring new and interesting places, especially once travel restrictions ease up a bit more :)
