I've gathered that most shoulder pains come from an instability. I love that you still show that you look at mobility and really go after the root cause, it helps us learn that there are logical steps to choose what exercises are meant for who
That’s true for most joint and muscle pains as well. It’s always either weakness or overuse and sometimes muscle imbalance due to lifestyle or exercise choices.
What I did wrong (and am also assuming everyone else does wrong) was that I used to lead the lateral raise with my forearm. But that's wrong, we're supposed to lead with our elbows. A helpful cue can be to think of pushing our elbows to the side, or as if someone was tugging on them with a rope. Hope this helps someone improve their form

Ive had shoulder impingement and bicep tendinitis for almost 2 years and tried 2 rounds of PT from august to may (2 different businesses) and corticosteroid shots in both shoulders with no improvement. They should finally be approving an mri and are talking about buffing out parts of bones to create space between acromial and subscapular bones.
