Thank you so much for this overview. I wanted to see if I could run this thing without using the Wifi features without it giving some disconnected warning all the time. Based on your overview it looks like that this will work for me without using wifi.
Wired up T5, but when I connected the thermostat, the display only says "HELLO." Can't get to the set up screen, and cannot find a troubleshoot reference regarding "HELLO" displaying on the screen. Ugh!

Same, I’m looked for a decent HomeKit enabled smart thermostat.
When walking away from the thermostat or when i mostly use the app the thermostat screen never shuts off after a few min it will jump to the dimmer screen with the current temp and time. I want it completely off is that possible or do these just stay on all the time?
Does this thermostat support 5g wifi?
I just had this thermostat installed, but it now keeps cycling on and off like every 10-15min? Would you know how to stop it?

There is an Installer Menu where you can change CPH and other settings for threshold. Check your Installation Manual.
It could be that you have or had the fan on 'Circulate.' In Circulate mode, the fan runs intermittently to circulate air. I understand that your comment is about a year old, and you could have resolved this issue or even changed to a different thermostat.
Looks like a piece of crap.
