Hi I’ve just come across your page I’m 6,2 and a half and weigh around 135kg I want a BMX but I honestly don’t know what to get I’m not trying to do any or big tricks I should say growing up I had a bmx at around 10 to 13 and I stopped I’m now 18 and want to get back into it
@@reohngordon313 From a member who is quite older and has a little experience, I would go with a frame of 21.25 TT minimum. I am 6'3", 215. Your weight is your advantage. You can feel confident with pretty much any good quality bike. Please do not settle for just anything, take your time, BMX ain't going nowhere. Aloha
I weigh 320 pounds witch is 145 kg. I’m wondering if a 20 inch will be able to take my weight. Also weather the bike will need to be made out of chromoly to take my weight. The Stolen Sinner, Heist, Saint, and Zeke are all made of full chromoly
@@captainhook8138 Two important things I would consider is geometry and of course parts which may have to come from aftermarket like Profile. I would go with the strongest stock bike with the best geometry, which bob or his app should be able to help choose. Then change parts as they wear out, but with higher quality. It is expensive, but worth it in the long run. Aloha
I bought a 2022 gap XL for $350 on sale. I'm getting back into BMX, and I would say I have a pretty decent skill level. I probably should have watched this before I bought it, but do you think it was a horrible purchase? And keep in mind I thought it might be good for getting my feet wet and I do plan on upgrading soon and just using this to cruise around the streets with after I get something better. And I also weigh about 185lbs. Thanks
Imagine not being in the BMX nerd discord 🤡
What is the discord could I join?
Got my 2023 gap xl in iridescent mocha for 30$. Love it. ❤

I’m just asking for guidance on what to do if I’m to heavy for a BMX which I hope I am not

Don’t doubt your purchase. This guy is a heavily biased geek. How is the bike treating you?
@@Boozer42069 haha, yeah I was just kinda on the fence about my purchase but I actually went with the WTP Reason and im pretty pleased with it!!
@@DevinDayewhats the WTP reason?
would you recommend this bike for someone who uses it for casual riding around and for dirt jumps sometimes?
Yeah the 13.2” chainstay will feel stable on dirt jumps and if you’re mostly cruising you won’t mind the quality
would this bike be good for someone who would use it for casual riding and street riding?
Yes
Anyone have the link to the app
What if you get it much cheaper. Like $180
