Thank you! Seriously, I was in a weird mood today, my stomach not willing to decide if it was hungry or wanted to puke, some "delay" between perception and the process of this information, a really weird Sunday for me. But then your video comes out, you joking about it's Sunday and coffee didn't kick in yet, just your good mood and the way you present things... That has just brightened my day. :) I'm pretty new to the plant thing, but as each time I start a new interest, I go all for it, so I'm stacked with plants. And I'm dealing with my first pest infestations. Some of my calatheas got something (I couldn't say what exactly, it was pretty small and a lot, but no webbing, not much moving either, it didn't really look like the pictures of thrips I found online...), I found some on two, but I decided to act on most of them as they were grouped very tightly. Now they are on my coffee table, farther away from all windows. I showered them all (twice already), sprayed them with a mix of water, soap and neem oil, I'll monitor that for at least two more weeks before I put them back in place. And yesterday I discovered my first mealybugs on a hoya. It was only a few as far as I could see, the plants around didn't seem impacted, but I'll keep an eye on that too. I'm glad to see your import plants seems to acclimate. :)
Hey Cé cile 👋 i am sorry t hear about the weird Sunday, hopefully you are feeling better now 🤞 I am so so glad this video brightened your day , that brightens mine 😊 I am sorry to hear about the pests too, yeah hoyas are notoriously bad for Mealybugs 😬 but yes definately monitor them and see how you get on. Very odd when you started describing the pests that started on the Calatheas i immediately thought spidermites, but as you said no webbing, so i wonder what that one is. Hopefully they all are pest free soon 😊🌿💚
@@Houseplantygoodness yeah, I just heard about hoyas and mealybugs again, so I paid extra attention, but for now it's only that one, the 4 others are fine. My stomach still isn't OK (stupid acid reflux) but it seems like the rest is back to normal now, thanks for asking. Take care.
Thanks for the informative followup. I'm impressed, not only how the plants stabilized but also how quickly new growth came. I ordered 2 orchids and Anthurium forgetii from Ecuagenera for pickup at an orchid show in the States; I'm happy with the results.
I very very much like El Choco - looks so cute now 🙂 Very nice plants, but El Choco is my favourite (I wish I had enough space for it too). I hope all of them do well and will be interested in future updates 🙂🌿💚
Great an funny as usual! It will be nice to see some video on the process you follow when importing plants, like what you do when all is fine, when there are problem and when the hope is low :) and maybe how different plant species should be treated! Just my 2 cents, for the rest continue like this and thanks for all the content and joy you bring!
Hey Saskia, awww thank you glad you are enjoying the videos 😊 its comments like yours that make all the long hours of filming and editing so worth it 💚💚💚💚 hello from the UK too 👋👋👋👋
The video we all need to see today 😊 very happy for this update! The imported patriciae I've got is giving me hard times, but I won't lose hope I'm impressed by the queremalense, such a hardy plant!
Awww glad Valeria 😊💚🌿🙌🙌🙌 yeah the patriciae at the best of times can be a bit temperamental, let along after shopping, so hopefully both of ours pull through 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 yeah was really shocked by the queremalense 🤯🤯🤯💚🌿
I just got my very first order last Thursday I had to have a queen 👑.. I got a verracossum 2, hummingbird, and fantasy, a queen antherium, a crystalynium, and 2 gloriosom variations . Gloriosom and crystal are potted and out of the humidity bags already and seem to be doing well the verracossums are struggling but they never travel well and my queen is gorgeous so I still have her acclimation in a humidity bag and keeping her humidity at 70-80% hoping for the best. I'm so worried lol because people say after the first week is when the decide to glow up or start dieing back. Really want mine to thrive.
Have to agree with the pick up import plants, picked my Philodendrons up 10 days ago, they even came in complete soil mix with perfect roots. So I directly potted them up in my own mix with a little bit of the old media and they already pushed out new roots and continued working on new leaves as if nothing happened to them. I don't know how they were able to import them in soil, but will not complain :D Pick up might be really better for us in Europe right? Most of yours look great as well :)
I got 2 ecuagenera packages in. I was expecting death and carnage and a long acclimatisation. The bessea aff came in half frozen, so all the leaves were gone in up to 2 days (I got a replacement on the way). Everything else was fine, some mechanical damage or water damage. The thing is, it's been a week, almost everything has started to put out a new leaf. It's insane. My place doesn't have that great of conditions, it's only up to 17C outside for now and the window is open a lot, the moss seems freezing to me. Knock on wood, everything is great.
So good to see they are doing so well for you, or your doing them well lol whichever it is, yayyy! Waiting for the update with anticipation as the growing season is now upon us can only imagine how well they are going to do in your new setup 😊 The queens new leaf looks beautiful btw. My queens leaves melted into oblivion and have got no idea what happened, and the Veichii got 1 leaf and nowt else. win some loose some however I’m not as upset as i thought would be, love those two babies. 😢 Anyway onward and upward, I can live through yours instead 😉 🌱💚
Hey Kathy awww thanks yeah let's see how they fair. Ohhh no I am sorry to hear about your queen and king 😬 I have heard queen's can really turn quite quickly from super happy to dead, so I wouldn't feel too bad, we can enjoy them whilst they are happy. Hey I killed off 2 before this one 😅😬 the king might be salvegable though, mine is a fighter, so it might bounce back 🤞🏻💚🌿
Everything doing great! I was afraid with the cold damage but it’s no where as bad as I thought. Just received a order an it’s ok for the most part. Metalicum, Esmeraldence, Patricia an Squamicle Pink. I hope they do as well as yours has. 💚💚💚
My favourites are the heterocraspedon and querelamense. Nice to see they are doing well after the concern about the cold. I keep dithering about ordering from Ecuagenera as it appears to luck on what you receive. They have regale/lux hybrids for £200, and I’d love one, but I’m not prepared to take that risk…….at the moment 😂
Hey John yeah those are some of my faves too. I know what you mean it is very hit and miss for sure. One thing I have learnt is patience and buy in the summer (early) for best chance of success, but I completely get why you are holding off. 💚🌿
Love the anthurium clavigerum. Desperately after one but not to sure about ordering from ecuagenera. In the uk do we order from their regular website or their European one? Anyone any ideas?
They’re really thriving Memo! It would be great to see the summer update in comparison with the 2wk update. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!

Awww thanks, yeah that one suprised me, so so cool, that texture is insane

Thanks 😊 😊 😊 yeah it seems to be really working so far, now that the light isn't frying them 😬😅😅😅💚🌿
