Using treble hooks on C&R ? You are injuring the fish!!!! Rather use dynamite sticks - it will surely do more damage!? C'mon guys - use single hooks and use your proper skill to catch the fish - give them a real "sporting chance"!!!!

Whenever we fish for king mackrels,Tuna,or any sizable fish,topwater or anylure that spins we use a snap swivel ore just a swivel to keep the line from twisting...Is that the weakest link fishing for those very powerful fish or is it just something you just dont use....THANKS. A lot of people still use a swivel on the nose of the lure and then to a split ring The split ring allows a quick change over from stick to popper I live to use a solid to split ring as it eliminates any week points and the sticks and pops we use done twist hardly at all. It’s hard to tell exactly what happened at the bite. Did you have the hook pull on a smaller fish and then big one ate it?
