Video was spot on - Thanks!!! I would only add making sure your 19MM deep socket fits over the plastic housing of the replacement sensor before starting - my 3/8" 19mm socket did not fit, but my 1/2" 19MM socket did.
I think anyone who has ever owned one of these should file suit and have Chevy pay for anger management classes...ever wonder why Chevy owners beat they're wives and kick they're dogs 😂 this here is a gem in the shitpool
I have the same but air is working car is not heating on me but needle. Go up just for driving around 4 blocks I open the radiator cap is not heating ?
I have a 2016 Traverse. And unfortunately I have had to replace... All 4 hubs/cv axles/pads/rotors Power steering pump (had to drop the sub frame and then immediately have an alignment done after) Oil pressure switch Fuel pressure switch Plugs Coil boots Getting ready to change... Dimmer switch Coolant temp sensor TPMS on the front drivers side And... I have to drop the fuel tank to replace the anit-slosh baffle inside. I have 160,000 on this one. I know that normal wear and tear happens. But this is ridiculous. I am a Chevy guy till I die. But don't buy a Traverse or an Acadia...
@Mames5537 I hate to hear that. I still have my Traverse and it just rolled 200,000. Everyone says that most of them do not last past those miles. But mine has. It's just keeping up with the repairs and maintenance of them I suppose. Oh dang, sounds like you could have a blown head gasket. Have you checked your oil to see if it is milky yet?
Temp sensor confuses the system with an intermittent signal. AC sort of disabled by computer. Car thinks it’s over heating or no antifreeze detected. The check engine light with scanner shows temp sensor issue.
I didn't think this was difficult at all. I've done WAY harder things than this job. Very easy in my opinion. I also cheated in replacing the Ambient temperature switch. Did NOT take front fascia off!
Talk about a tight space! As a women I’m so glad I found your video it gave me the confidence to complete the job!
My baby calmed down listening to you but yes very helpful that clip was my question and you explained it
Thanks for your video. And congrats 🎉 for your experience in mechanic jobs. Be blessed.
Thanks for the video. It helped me change out my sensor. Definately very tight area to work with.

You sure are brave to tackle that on your own. You did a great job.
😊. Your video really helped me. I was able to successfully replace the sensor and I didn’t even break the little red button lock 😅
Thank you for the post.. No way I would’ve tried this without your help.. Just wish I could’ve been as calm as you in that tight space😂
Thank you. What a blessing! We changed it and saved alot of money
Thank you!!! I just finished mine and hoping it’s the solution
thank you very much for your video , it helped me a lot , God bless you always 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍👍
USE, NEEDLE-NOSE PLIERS.... Don't use a screwdriver if you don't want bust the tab off...
Thank you, hopefully we have air soon too

Thank you!
Did you engine light go off?
Yes, it went off later that day
You rock!!
Thank you!

Remove dipstick? You keep knocking into it.
Did the temp gauge was not reading temp and your ac didn't work?
How did you know the sensor gauge controlled the AC.. my AC is blowing hot as well and
I’m not sure if I need to change this part. Thank you
I took it to Auto Zone and got a free read and they said it was the sensor.
Well let’s give it a try 🤞
Did the check engine eventually turn off? Having same issue with mine.
Yes, later that day it cleared

Literally have 2 replace half of what you listed this week. Keep getting a lot of white smoke and gas smell out the tail pipe.

Melissa did you have to drain the fluid to change it? Can you send the part number
I did not drain any fluid. I'm not sure what the part number is. I went to Auto Zone and asked for a temp sensor for my car.
Maria? > Did you watch the video?
How do you get the check engine light back off?
It went off automatically shortly after turning the car back on.
so you do not have to drain the coolant?
No, you do not.
Jerry? Did YOU watch the video?
Man I wish I had smaller hands.
What does the coolant temperature sensor have to do with the air conditioning? They're completely separate systems.

@@bernardojunicic6805 interesting, thanks for the knowledge
What is the dang socket size
