Young lady, you provide excellent content. I have been a reseller for over 20 years, plus I owned 2 brick & mortar consignment shops, and I would completely recommend watching your videos, especially beginners looking for guidance. Teaching is definitely your strength and your speaking abilities and no drama style are especially appreciated. Keep it up - you add value to this community and I appreciate you (and Grandma too 😍). ~jill
Empty Hanger I totally agree with what she said! U really can tell u r a professional!! I am wondering if u went to school for fashion? How do u know all of the brands?
Steaming makes me feel so zen!!! Reselling has turned me into a stain removal queen. Some tips: highly recommend soaking stained items in oxiclean (chlorine-free, color safe bleach) overnight before throwing them in the washing machine. I also love using a paste of hydrogen peroxide, blue dawn, and baking soda - great for blood/rust/yellow sweat stains. Super cheap stain removal bars that everyone should try: pink Zote or Fels Naptha, cost like 99c for a bar, incredible for removing stubborn dirt/ grease stains. Out/ White Bright is amazing for dingy white fabrics like grey-ing sheets/towels/yellow armpits on boyfriends undershirts. I have saved SO MANY SWEATERS thanks to my trusty de-piller, and like Jenna, I'm obsessed with my steamer!!! I steam with half white vinegar/half distilled water to kill smells on stinky items, but cheap vodka also deodorizes like a champ! (Of course, your goal should be to thoroughly inspect all items before you buy so you don't spend more time doing laundry instead of listing. But it's hard to spot every flaw when you're stuck with shitty thrift store lighting!)
Thank you for your advice! Has the vinegar and water mixture had any effect on your steamer? Is it still working properly? What steamer were you using, if you don't mind sharing? :D Thank you in advance!

Actually, the first thing you should do when you come home before even getting your items out of the bags, is toss everything in your dryer on high for a good 20 min. If not more. Forget germs- think of bedbugs. You do not want those invading your home. The dryer will kill them for sure. Then you should do your next steps. Just a friendly FYI
Thanks to I learned two new things today 1) steaming kills bacteria and 2) use the square option to take pics so you don’t have to edit them for PM Great video!
Omg, I am a stay home mom. And I been looking what do to make $ without leaving my son. ( I don't trust ppl to take care of my son, so I take care of him. ) And seen this video. Made me think that I could start doing this. I do have a ton of my son outfit he dont fit no more. Thank youuuuuuu
I’m new to the industry of online resale and your videos are THEE source for finding a fully disclosed process for how to do this! You are officially my resale GURU!! Now I’m off to watch literally every video you’ve done😉.. thank you for sharing your knowledge so freely Jenna!!! This newbie feels ready to jump in thanks to you🙏🏾❤️
Great! Thank you so much. I have just come back to eBay fulltime. It's great to find people like you! I love order so your system really appeals to me. I am almost there already after a month. I just need to organize storage. I have a complete spare room ready. Yay!
I have been reselling for a long time as well and I think your channel is the one beginners should watch. You steam the clothes, make everything look professional and neat. I think there are a few well known re sellers that could learn the right way to do things from you.
I just began this journey and I'm slowly watching all your videos! I've been poshing for 3 weeks today...and made almost 500 dollars! Not bad for not knowing what I'm doing. It was all in my own closet the entire time! Oh and the handbags.......those are my faves!
That is an amazing start! Congratulations! You’re smart, I think starting with things out of your own closet is a great way to learn and make some $$$. I wish you the best of luck!
Don't cut those loops on the Betsey Johnson dress. Knits will get holes if you cut the yarns, Use a tiny crochet hook from the back side, reach through and pull the loops to the inside. This works well for sweater snags, too. Thanks for the tips! Personally I had to mute the music and slow down the fast segments to "get it".
Yes, my mom was good at that! sew it in there somehow to prevent holes... So great videos though. I enjoy and learn so much every time! you are so professional and amazing empty hanger!
Fantastically informative and helpful! You have your system down pat, super impressive! Love your curated PM closet as well. Thanks for putting this together for your followers!
Do you ever “give up” on your inventory, like if it doesn’t sell after a certain point? If so, what do you do w/ it? I was just kinda curious considering you package every item so nicely ASAP; at least for me, it would suck to have to remove the nice packaging to donate it or whatever.
I send that stuff to Thread Up since they provide shipping. I personally don't like to use them as a primary source for selling but I figure if it's something I'm getting rid of anyway then if they buy it at their ridiculous pay out then great it's a step up from the time and effort of managing it and figuring out how to sell it so at least I'm getting rid of it for little time and no expense on my behalf
What I do with my clothes that don’t sale I do two things 1. I wait for Black Friday or cyber Monday to come around and give deals off with that 2.i do a raffle ticket for there chance to win a T-shirt etc.. with me but I do throw other stuff in there to:) hope that help
Ok I've been doing my Poshmark research through dozens of UA-cam videos. I look up and compare inventory setups, listing, sourcing hauls, spreadsheets, where to get the best shipping supplies etc I have to say you are one of top 3 picks. You by far have the best storage system
I am going to watch this a second time as it was packed with so much good info. You are incredibly organized. I was thinking why doesn't she have anything in her apartment?! It's completely bare. Lol. Seriously, such a clean, dedicated space to do this in.
Thank you for teaching us how to do it the right way, honestly. I estimated how much you would make and just off of those 19 pieces it's just under $700. I was just going to use posh as a side income but you've shown that you can make it a business!! Thank you so much. You are so intellegent and savvy. I am just so amazed by you!
Keep up the great work. I am on day 3 of your vids and would rather watch then sleep lol starting my poshmark closet Monday so you are helping more than any other youtuber. Appreciate your hard work ethic!
Life should be about loving what we do and I am so happy that you have found this! I plan to do this very soon. I don't know why I haven't already. I'm a huge thrifter and I live next to a major metropolitan city, so I have access to several great Goodwill's and one is a bin store that charges by the pound which is super cheap! I've had a cart full and paid maybe $11 for all of it. I also go to yard sales every weekend in spring and summer. It's my all time favorite thing to do and I see no reason why I shouldn't turn my passion into a business as well! Thanks so much for sharing what and how you do this! You have an amazing eye for fashion!
Well today I was at my Goodwill and there were no Free People or Anthropology or any really cool brands like you found, but,...I did find a pink leather Franco Sarto handbag and a Michael Kors leather handbag so I probably should go back and stick to handbags!! Oh and p.s. I love your organization of having a rack, a steamer and velvet hangers. I've got to get a mannequin as clothes show much better on one.
Great information. Saving this to watch and watch and rewatch!!!! I only have one question. Why not hang the clothes on a clear hanger to begin with rather than switching them? It seems like a little time could be saved by not changing the hanger.
Okay, I’m motivated again. I love the content you put out. This helps streamline a few things that I am slower at. I am going to make a few switches and try and get those times down-working during baby’s nap time means every second absolutely counts haha. Thanks!!

I'm a first timer, will subscribe for sure 👍 were you able to answer for the reasoning of measuring? Also do you have a video helping interested reseller's?
Great video! I would have liked to see at least one slowed down version of you bagging an item and steaming. I did not get a chance to see what kind of bags you are using to store your items. Someone had suggested bread bags from Walmart but I have not found those yet. I’m a beginner trying to learn as much as I can from videos like yours.
Really great job! Can you tell me what and where did you get the stand you used to steam the clothes on? Also, what size plastic bags and how many and about how much and where??? lol I need you in my life, girlfriend!
Jenna, thank you so much for sharing this video! It was perfect, and one of my favorites so far. I'd love to see this same video style from start to finish every once in a while. Thanks again for sharing! I love learning tips and tricks from you!
Hi! By Any chance do you have a video on just FOLDING? I have been trying to figure out how to fold men's shirts or suit jackets in the best way... Also... do you fold EVERYTHING and then not touch it again and just ship it off? Don't things get wrinkled if they sit too long? Or is your inventory roll over too short of a time period for that? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
Thank You! I'm just starting out in the past month and I love your videos! They are very informative and have helped me out greatly. You explain things so thoroughly. I live in suburb of Chicago and don't seem to find as much great Anthropology or labels that you find, but I've learned lots from you. Keep doing the videos! And thanks again!!
Great vid . So helpful and professional. If your looking for any future vid suggestions. I’d love to see what and how you actually measure the clothes . Jeans are pretty self explanatory but I never know where to measure on dresses and shirts
One more question... do you do anything to measure your marketing vehicles? Like did you /do you see an increase of followers or sales in your Posh account from having an Instagram account? - Thanks again!
Hello! Do you also use poly mailers to ship or do you just use priority mail mailers? Wondering if I should order the plastic bags as well as poly mailers. Or either or. Thanks!
LOVE your videos!!! I do have a question... What are the pros and cons of photographing everything and THEN listing as opposed to using the camera on the POSHMARK app?
Great video! I just joined Poshmark last night and haven’t sold anything yet. Do you mark up your sale price to include the cost of shipping or is that an extra cost that the buyer pays? Thanks so much! I’m going to follow you for sure!
Ok, wow, your super fast and organized. You don’t seem to have any distractions at all. This would take me 3-4 days!! After the thrift store I’m exhausted! And have a lot of distractions. Great video though, love it, you have an awesome set up.
So nice and clean procedure! I wish I could get better at posting my clothing items on poshmark, I haven’t made any sales yet and I see people selling so much stuff. I just don’t get the sharing and parties. Great video though!
Super informative! Thank you! Also - how do we know what brands to shop for? I know major brands, but I’m afraid that I would pass over good steals with some of the brands you listed because I’m not aware of them!
Hi Jenna, I love your videos, thanks for sharing! Would you mind sharing what you do when an item doesn't sell, and how long do you hold onto an item? Thanks!
Thank you! I will hold on to items pretty long. Maybe a year or longer. Depends if it is something unique and need to wait for the right buyer to come along.
Hi there!! I was wondering if you could do a video on how you measure clothing? I’m always so nervous taking measurements and worry they’re not accurate and you seem to fly through it so I wonder if you have any tips!? 😀
Two questions- How often do you source clothing..daily? Weekly? Also are you selling with the goal of one day having your own resale website, or will you continue to use ebay/poshmark platforms?
Hi! It just depends on how much I find when I go out. Usually 2-4 times a week. I don't want to have my own site, I will definitely continue to use the platforms. So much easier with their customer base, customer service, hosting/payment options, etc.
I really like your whole system. What kind of bags do you use? You are making me want to try a steamer instead of washing my items. Thanks for the great video! I just went to your links and saw the bags so never mind on that question

That wasn't even for me and it made me cry. I agree 100% tho. You are an excellent teacher! Especially for my ADHD brain!🙃 Thank you so much!😊

One more question... do you do anything to measure your marketing vehicles? Like did you /do you see an increase of followers or sales in your Posh account from having an Instagram account? - Thanks again!
Your videos are so easy to follow. Like talking to one o my gfs. Can you tell me what type of lighting you use? I’m very new at this
Hello! Do you also use poly mailers to ship or do you just use priority mail mailers? Wondering if I should order the plastic bags as well as poly mailers. Or either or. Thanks!
Did you paint your wall you use as backdro white? I have a light yellow one. Would that work?
Thank you Jenna! Great information again with a professional touch!
You're welcome! I appreciate your support ♥️
LOVE your videos!!! I do have a question... What are the pros and cons of photographing everything and THEN listing as opposed to using the camera on the POSHMARK app?
Wow, you thank you for the demonstration of true efficiency! I’ve subscribed! The first thing I do is my spreadsheet for recording of purchases.
Where do you get the plastic bags u used to package everything?
Great video! I just joined Poshmark last night and haven’t sold anything yet. Do you mark up your sale price to include the cost of shipping or is that an extra cost that the buyer pays? Thanks so much! I’m going to follow you for sure!
great video, you are very organized. What size of bags do you use and where do you get the inventory labels?
nevermind I see its all in your Amazon link
Awesome content. I'm planning to start an online shop and this video is very helpful. Thanks for sharing ❤
Love from, 🇵🇭
I absolutely love your videos! I enjoy watching your process - you are very good at what you do.
Thank you so much! I appreciate that!
These are great tips and you are a wonderfully organized seller! xo
I love your channel - I have a small shop on Etsy and you have inspired me to step up my game ~.~
Jenna, thanks a lot! You are sooooo organized and inspiring.
Aw thanks!
Excellent video, thank you for making it, very informative. My least favorite part is taking measurements, you made it look so easy. Great job! - Mike
Do you steam your silk pieces also?
When do you take the measurements for your items? And what measurements do you take?
Ok, wow, your super fast and organized. You don’t seem to have any distractions at all. This would take me 3-4 days!! After the thrift store I’m exhausted! And have a lot of distractions. Great video though, love it, you have an awesome set up.
So nice and clean procedure! I wish I could get better at posting my clothing items on poshmark, I haven’t made any sales yet and I see people selling so much stuff. I just don’t get the sharing and parties. Great video though!
I love how you explained everything! I was wondering where I can find the clear bags that you used to store the clothes?

You can buy bags at Walmart!
Do you have a specific place you learn about brands?
Hi there! Where do you get your clear bags to put the clothes into? Thanks! 🥰
Hello great video. Do you look for specific brands? Looking to do the same but not sure what to buy. Thanks
Wow girl this was such a great video. Thanks for a look into your process! Extremely helpful!
@@EmptyHanger thank you!
Trying watching all your videos! Your are amazing 😉
Do you wash your clothes? I always wash as soon as I walk through the door!
I really like your whole system. What kind of bags do you use? You are making me want to try a steamer instead of washing my items. Thanks for the great video! I just went to your links and saw the bags so never mind on that question
