    Hi Bob - I love this exercise and the tip about practicing into a wall. I was hating my sound in one room but realized after watching this it was because it was I couldn't hear myself. One question - would this be something you'd do daily as part daily routine or at least several times weekly?

      Thanks Oscar! It's an old (early 1900s is best guess - no label) German Flatback bass I acquired here in St. Louis. I bought it in rough shape and the great luthier Nick Lloyd restored it for me back around 2008. I use Evahs on the E/A/D and Oliv on the G.
