For all people wondering why the druid at 8:15 had only 1,3billion armor despite 3 earthen scale, it's because the game is coded in 32bits, this means it can't display number bigger than 2,1billion (approximately), if he would have doubled the attack on the linecracker, it would be 0 attack. He could have survived if he earthen scales before at 600M attack, + the 1,3billion it would have make 1.9billion armor :) And sorry for my English, it's not my first language

@@JTickett deathrattles were deal 1 damage to every minion and with baron Rivender it's triggers twice. So he triggers with play dead and stuff. So Gahz'rilla (multiply own attack when receive damage) became insane.

Can I just point out the guy at 2:49 cleared pretty poorly? If he killed one of the full health Defenders first, the Mage's board would've been full, so the remaining Defenders would only summon one instead. Would've saved you from having to kill 2 extra.
The proper way to do this is to pop all the Reborns first, then deal with the 3/1s. Doing so would allow you to clear the board without needing to almost clear your own board.

You're right. Though to be fair it's rank 13, with Khadgar and reborn minions on a new expac. I'd be more than capable of making the same misplay esp. when I just lost expected lethal :)

The keyword is *whenever*
"Whenever" in Hearthstone doesn't actually mean whenever; more like before, before the actual thing you're trying to do, so that's why the damage went in before therefore killing him before the attack could complete
You can try this with any cards with whenever effect. The effect will always trigger before the action that you just input from a spell or a minion

So he should have make a earthen scale when the linecracker had like 600M attack, he would had 2billion armor ad survived.
