Seeing pro players have fun while winning AND losing is something that I’ve missed for the longest time now and I think Hearthstone needs more of that fun moments
Mirrored webcams from opposing sides of the table. They’re moving in the exact opposite direction with perfectly mirrored motions and timing. Beautiful
Dont worry about it, after playing it for years i can tell you that getting to leyend means nothing, you winning a tournament in hs means nothing (except for the cash), im amazed of how there is competitive play on this game.
21:07 is my fav. 3 cards, 2 hero powers and many complications. It's actually winnable for Thijs' team if they play arcanologist, ping face first turn but again, very hard to count within 75 seconds
34:40 As I understand it, Mass Dispel always silences your enemy's minions, yeah? The text reads "Silence all enemy minions" and Primalist/Yogg/Tess/etc. is played on your side, so it'll always work in your favor.
Reckful isn't in there. I can't stand Amaz, but Amaz's early tourny wins with Rag were legendary and were not in there. Patron Warrior had some of the best wins and fails...and there were zero Patron clips.
Gene K i know it's not completely serious, but HS is just about RNG. A player's job is to make the right move and predict what might happen, what has the most chance to happen and play around some weird cases. You try to reduce the RNG's effects, but sometimes it just takes you by behind and it hirts
This reel tells everything about Hearthstone; most of the clips are 100% rng, and the ones that are "skill-based" are like "OH MY GOD HE USED ANCESTRAL HEALING INTO BLACK KNIGHT! Wow, 2 card combo holy hell!"
lol so many amazing plays could be there from so many amazing players. I am watching 15 minutes and all I see are players drawing fiesta cards winning them the game. Lifecoach insane patron lethal? Where is that?
What is fun about watching a dude set up a guaranteed lethal and then doing he lethal. It's boring. Patron lethal has been done way too many times, it's lame. It was a cheap and easy way of winning
@@dramaexterminatus what are you talking about I don't understand what are you trying to say. Every patron lethal is same? Patron lethals are one of the hardest to execute with all the effects whirlwinds, charges, you know how many times people on stages missed insane patron lethal just because it's so hard to see it just from hand. You need to execute it 100% right i don't know what are you talking bout.
mattun's client remembers a board state that had since been changed, but wasn't registered. I've seen it happen after a disconnect, but I don't know the exact reason why it happened here. Could also be a visual spectator bug that couldn't be spotted.
18:45 very cool lethal but he didn’t need to death raza. He could have just played the 2 mana card(forgetting it’s name) and still had the win. Still amazing but casters made it seems like that was the only way
@@theomorrison1099 i understand that, I just don't get why the casters where talking as if sw:death was the only way he got lethal. Lethal was pretty clear with nethersprite historian
You can Alextraza yourself as a heal below fifteen health, so if they ping + arcanologist, then the other team decided to kill the arcanologist instead of dealing 3 to face, they would've won from the compounding fatigue damage, plus the 2 hits from Alextraza they would've been able to do with those turns. So, it's still not a likely win, but it was definately possible. The misplay was Thijis just doing that play without consulting with his team, before considering fatigue damage. He 100% lost the game for his team.
I could be off on the math but if they played arcanolegist and pinged then played alexstraza they could've won with the extra health and the 8 more tempo

@@franklu1412 ahh thanks. I see it now. I don’t think I was playing at the time that weapon was a thing but I’m used to seeing the actual card description saying something like deal *12* damage when it’s buffed so I was so confused thinking he still had 6 life left.

Best -Tournament- *RNG* moments of all TIme - Hearthstone
At 52:08 Forsen's choices are between Taz'Dingo, Shieldbearer and Twillight Geomancer (2 mana 1/4, give your C'Thun taunt).
Every hype moment is a random draw.. interesting that it still has a competitive scene
I thought there would be something actually interesting here, but it really is all "WOOOOW, HE TOP-DECKED SOMETHING GOOD!"
Lol. Almost nothing had to do with top decks. Its just the usual coin flip that turns the game around.
"all time" meaning barely a single clip from before MSOG??
So basically you first flip a coin, then roll the dice, then spin the roulette and probably win. Looks like legit esports discipline to me.
