I had a worst experience too while selling Audi Q3 couple of years back, market value given by local dealers was between 17-18 lakhs but these guys gave me 12.55 lakhs as per the bids received from all over India. Finally, sold at 17.65 lakhs to a buyer from Olx. Stay away guys, they are complete waste of time and quotes obnoxious value.of your vehicle.
It's not that bad. Generally, they quote a low price. But you can negotiate with them. If you can reach a good deal then Cars24 has its benefits. You just need to be firm and have a good understanding of the fair market value. The so called bids they say to have received initially is just to fool you.

I offered him 45k and I brought that car. When I went to local dealer just to check that car price he is ready to give 70k. I got good deal because of car 24 😀😂
First of all I don't know second hand car pricing at all. I brought this car for learning purpose..& this is my first car.. seller want more the 40k I offered 5k more.. he is happy & me too.. that's it. Blame car 24 who undervalued the car.
Cars24 quoted Rs 40,000 for my Honda City. I went to a car dealer. They paid me Rs 60,000 with no hidden charges. Paper work done for free within 1 month. I will never go to Cars24 again.
I agree last month hi mene experience kiya khud. My car was Honda city 2003 model full working condition they gave price on online 80000 then after verification they said 22000. I gave my car in scrap at 35000 😂 and i am happy

I got quotation of Rs 2.9 lac for wagon R 2014 model from car24. My wife who has seen price only in these platforms was much interested so thought of taking a test drive. Engine was okay but gear, break, clutch had issue and suspension was also not that impressive. Car was repainted it seems. First gear was not easy. The car didn't pick in 1st gear without accelator. I couldn't reverse the car though I was able reversed the car in an older model ... But still the price around 3 lac... I am not going with this car. This shouldn't cost more than 1.75 lac. Similarly I also had discussion with Maruti True Value. What upset me , while selling they take price of latest year model as base price. So a Wagon R of year 2014 which owner at that might have purchased at 4-5 lac is still being sold at 3 lac plus. Wagon R now a days have SUV look hence they cost 6-7 lac. A hatchback small Wagon R ..its price is based on recent suv type wagon r model... Why will someone pay 3 lac for 2014 model Wagon R. Even 2 lac is too much. From this video I assume the seller might have got around 1 lac only. Local mechanic is suggesting better price than these platforms. Only thing one should know how to check an old car. One can also take help from some other mechanic. Also be careful while doing RC transfer. Ask some RTO agent to check history ( theft case or not, earlier transfer, road tax of car ) , and also check the insurance of car.

Good that you exposed these guys. I too dealt with them in the past and had a very bad experience. My Skoda car was in superb condition and the valuation that was shown in their portal vis a vis what the outlet offered, there was hell n heaven difference. This was after their car jockey gave an excellent report. On top, they further reduced the price by 40k after doing a second bidding. I will never recommend anyone to go to these guys.
7:54 sahi kaha aapne, maine khoob gaaliyaan baki thi. My 9 months old 5th gen Honda City was evaluated at 10.8-11.2 in good condition on their website. Their evaluator came, evaluated the car and went. He praised my car for its pristine condition and all the Accesories the car had. Report came in after 2 hours, I was shocked and angry is an understatement. The report said car doesn’t have leather seats. Evaluator car TD karte time seats ki tareef kar raha tha ki kitni achi quality ki leather seats hai. Report said car has scratches. I checked all the spots where report said car has scratches. I couldn’t find one. Chalo maan liya mujhe dekhte nahi aata but baki evaluator ko bhi kahi scratches nahi dikhe. Then report says car’s rear tyres are damaged. Bhai, continental ke tyres hai jo 15,000 kms chale hue the. Main car leke ek tyre wale ke paas leke gaya and he evaluated the tyres they were showing 65% as thickness. Kaha se ye damaged hue? And biggest let down, evaluator ne car test karte time bonnet open kara, engine se dipstick nikali and car ka engine on karke 4,000 rpm pe race di, engine oil ke Cheete bahar aagaye then he says ki car ke engine main back compression hai. Usi time I called my trusted mechanic in Honda service centre and he said Ki 4,000 rpm pe dipstick nikal ke aap race doge toh kisi bhi gaadi ka engine aise behave karega. Honda is known for its ivtec engine. Now the price, they evaluated my car at 7,90,000. A 9 months old honda city. Cars24 representative said ki Honda city ki market value nahi hoti hai. They are selling a 2017 honda city in a decent state at 10,50,000 on their website. I am sure if I would have sold my car ye 7,90,000 maine leke 11 se kam main na bechte gaadi. Baki companies bhi aise hi hain. I decided not to sell my car. Whenever I will buy my next car I would rather sell it myself to showroom and might get some exchange bonus or sell it off to someone or send it to my hometown.

Cars 24 ka simple funda,first let them offer you a price .Reject it in first place .They will say it will valid for 24 hours .It's a catch . Ignore them and leave the place .They will come back with a more lucrative offer after a week . Just have patience.I tried .

I have tried this platform and frustrated because of their offering value. I was getting 1.5-1.7 lacks in market for my old Figo but car24 was offering me only 60k-80k. I directly refused to talk anymore but they called me more than 70-80 times. Haad hai yaar.
I have sold two cars at few years back to Cars24 and I was happy. I have found that the second hand car market is very fluctuating. Recently their quotes are much lower.
Ekdum sahi pakde !!!! Cars24 initially gives us a completely inflated rate and then after their so called evaluation they tend to offer half of it....I also had same experience....I sold off my car at a much higher price....these guys are just cheap old car dealers who were driven out of business due to unfair practices and now have found a new lease of life.
the cars 24 is a real bluff, i booked one alto k10 lxi 2019 cng car which showed price 3,82,000/- and had done only 11,000/- kms only.The pictures that were shown in application were basically the pics taken from maruti website and except for few pics from dashboard others were fake.On visit i found that , car had a broken tail light on right side, and also the driver side door handle was broken, the car had a stinking smell and to make matter worse was AC smell which was unbearable. When the bonnet was opened , i was shocked to see the engine had loose nuts and even the some nuts missing .On test drive brake was horrible .The car looked like that it being used mercilessly and in rowdy style.They did not have service records and to make matter worse repairs were being done and they claim that it is non accidental. The car had lots of mud in it. The person handling it was good but was trying to justifying all these loopholes. Is this what they claim 140 points checks. It not only wasted my day and also felt too much frustrated . Better go for car exchange offers . These people are great bluffs both in buying and selling .

I bought a car from cars24. Not from them directly but when market place was active. I got the best deal on my first ever car. It is a 2012 honda brio. Now they’ve closed the market place as not much benefit they’re getting. When I purchased the car, I gave them 14k roughly as commission and got the RC transfer myself. Without market place, they’re just like any other used car dealer you’ll find in your city. i.e buy at dirt cheap prices, refurbish and sell. Better list it somewhere where you can directly connect with buyer because dealers like theses manipulate pricing a lot. Brio 2012-2016 can cost you anywhere from 1.9 L to 2.5L but they’re listing it at 3.5L for a car 8 yrs old with less than 50% depreciation. Also gaining some trade and technical knowledge eliminates dependency and makes us an aware buyer/seller.

I had similar experience too.. I was selling my Renault Duster 110 ps rxl, 2.5 years old, with Sunroof, allow wheels, amp and 1300 WATT woofer of JBL, @car24 quoted me 5 lakhs. I was second owner though. Same details was given, and price for excellent condition was 9 lakhs. I just laughed and said, I am going to donate this car but won't give it to Car24. Sold the same car to another dealer (won't say the name else people would say that I am promoting a company) after 4 years and with a big dent due to accident in Ooty Hills 2 months back at 6 lakhs..

Yep same thing happened with me also. I bought NIOS sportz amt petrol in July 2020 (manufacturing 2019, registration 2020). I tried selling it in February end 2021. The price shown in app was 7.27-7.87 lakh. When they inspected, the Jockey told me that the car is in excellent condition and after inspection they quoted a price of 5.7 lakh. I told them that this car is in loan and the amount of loan remaining was 6.5 lakh at that time. When I refused, they told me that they will give 5.81 lakh (11000 bonus).

Similar experience with Bangalore Indira Nagar Branch of Cars24. They literally offered me 1.3 Lacs for my Santro as compared to other dealers who offered 2.45 Lacs. Cars24 wale Thugte hain public ko. Kindly stay away guys from Cars24.

Good that you exposed these guys. I too dealt with them in the past and had a very bad experience. My Skoda car was in superb condition and the valuation that was shown in their portal vis a vis what the outlet offered, there was hell n heaven difference. This was after their car jockey gave an excellent report.
On top, they further reduced the price by 40k after doing a second bidding. I will never recommend anyone to go to these guys.

My 9 months old 5th gen Honda City was evaluated at 10.8-11.2 in good condition on their website.
Their evaluator came, evaluated the car and went. He praised my car for its pristine condition and all the Accesories the car had.
Report came in after 2 hours, I was shocked and angry is an understatement. The report said car doesn’t have leather seats. Evaluator car TD karte time seats ki tareef kar raha tha ki kitni achi quality ki leather seats hai. Report said car has scratches. I checked all the spots where report said car has scratches. I couldn’t find one. Chalo maan liya mujhe dekhte nahi aata but baki evaluator ko bhi kahi scratches nahi dikhe.
Then report says car’s rear tyres are damaged. Bhai, continental ke tyres hai jo 15,000 kms chale hue the. Main car leke ek tyre wale ke paas leke gaya and he evaluated the tyres they were showing 65% as thickness. Kaha se ye damaged hue?
And biggest let down, evaluator ne car test karte time bonnet open kara, engine se dipstick nikali and car ka engine on karke 4,000 rpm pe race di, engine oil ke Cheete bahar aagaye then he says ki car ke engine main back compression hai. Usi time I called my trusted mechanic in Honda service centre and he said Ki 4,000 rpm pe dipstick nikal ke aap race doge toh kisi bhi gaadi ka engine aise behave karega. Honda is known for its ivtec engine.
Now the price, they evaluated my car at 7,90,000. A 9 months old honda city. Cars24 representative said ki Honda city ki market value nahi hoti hai.
They are selling a 2017 honda city in a decent state at 10,50,000 on their website. I am sure if I would have sold my car ye 7,90,000 maine leke 11 se kam main na bechte gaadi.
Baki companies bhi aise hi hain.

I have tried this platform and frustrated because of their offering value. I was getting 1.5-1.7 lacks in market for my old Figo but car24 was offering me only 60k-80k. I directly refused to talk anymore but they called me more than 70-80 times. Haad hai yaar.

Cars24 initially gives us a completely inflated rate and then after their so called evaluation they tend to offer half of it....I also had same experience....I sold off my car at a much higher price....these guys are just cheap old car dealers who were driven out of business due to unfair practices and now have found a new lease of life.
Gaadi ki kimat jub hi sahi milti he. Jub koi aapse khridne aaye. Aap gaadi bechne jaoge tb nhi. Sir aapka ye point bhut sahi lga.
the cars 24 is a real bluff, i booked one alto k10 lxi 2019 cng car which showed price 3,82,000/- and had done only 11,000/- kms only.The pictures that were shown in application were basically the pics taken from maruti website and except for few pics from dashboard others were fake.On visit i found that , car had a broken tail light on right side, and also the driver side door handle was broken, the car had a stinking smell and to make matter worse was AC smell which was unbearable. When the bonnet was opened , i was shocked to see the engine had loose nuts and even the some nuts missing .On test drive brake was horrible .The car looked like that it being used mercilessly and in rowdy style.They did not have service records and to make matter worse repairs were being done and they claim that it is non accidental.
The car had lots of mud in it. The person handling it was good but was trying to justifying all these loopholes.
Is this what they claim 140 points checks.
It not only wasted my day and also felt too much frustrated .
Better go for car exchange offers .
These people are great bluffs both in buying and selling .

I bought a car from cars24. Not from them directly but when market place was active. I got the best deal on my first ever car. It is a 2012 honda brio.
Now they’ve closed the market place as not much benefit they’re getting. When I purchased the car, I gave them 14k roughly as commission and got the RC transfer myself.
Without market place, they’re just like any other used car dealer you’ll find in your city.
i.e buy at dirt cheap prices, refurbish and sell.
Better list it somewhere where you can directly connect with buyer because dealers like theses manipulate pricing a lot.
Brio 2012-2016 can cost you anywhere from 1.9 L to 2.5L but they’re listing it at 3.5L for a car 8 yrs old with less than 50% depreciation.
Also gaining some trade and technical knowledge eliminates dependency and makes us an aware buyer/seller.

I had similar experience too.. I was selling my Renault Duster 110 ps rxl, 2.5 years old, with Sunroof, allow wheels, amp and 1300 WATT woofer of JBL, @car24 quoted me 5 lakhs. I was second owner though. Same details was given, and price for excellent condition was 9 lakhs. I just laughed and said, I am going to donate this car but won't give it to Car24.
Sold the same car to another dealer (won't say the name else people would say that I am promoting a company) after 4 years and with a big dent due to accident in Ooty Hills 2 months back at 6 lakhs..

Yep same thing happened with me also. I bought NIOS sportz amt petrol in July 2020 (manufacturing 2019, registration 2020).
I tried selling it in February end 2021. The price shown in app was 7.27-7.87 lakh.
When they inspected, the Jockey told me that the car is in excellent condition and after inspection they quoted a price of 5.7 lakh.
I told them that this car is in loan and the amount of loan remaining was 6.5 lakh at that time.
When I refused, they told me that they will give 5.81 lakh (11000 bonus).

Case 1: wo log jinki gaadi purani ho chuki hai, scratches and dent aa chuke hai, or tyre thodi purani ho gye hai. Aise log bahut bechan hote hai apni gaadi sell karne ke liye, or isi ka faida cars 24 uthate hai. Cars 24 wale inspection or bidding ke baad aapko aapki gaadi ke itne kam rate dete hai ki aap duvidha me fas jate hai ki kya kare.
Cars 24 ka fasane ka tarika:-
cars 24 wale apko ye kahege ki aapki car ki company ka filhaal Indian market me value kam ho gaya hai, islie aapki gaadi ka rate kam rah gaya hai.
Note here- aisa ye log sabhi car company ke bare me bolte hai. For example, agar SHYAM ke pass maruti Swift hai to ye log kahege maruti bahut purani company ho gayi hai or islie value nahi mil paegi...MOHAN ke pass Toyota ki etios hai to wo log kehege ki Toyota bahut purani company ho gayi hai India me isliye jyada value nahi mil sakta..
Or customer bus isi chiz me fas ke reh jate hai, or yehi sochne bhi lagte hai.
CARS 24 wale apka aadhar card, pan card ka photo copy, ek cross cheque bhi le lete hai or fir inka dusra khel suru hota hai. Aapka document le lene ke baad ye price negotiation fir se shuru karne lagte hai, ye kehte hai ki agar aapko hamara diya hua price pasand nahi hai to humlog aapke pasand ka price apne portal request par daal dete hai, or aapko aapka price mil jaega, lekin aisa nahi hota hai... 2-3-4 din tak ye aapko call nahi karte.

Similar experience with Bangalore Indira Nagar Branch of Cars24. They literally offered me 1.3 Lacs for my Santro as compared to other dealers who offered 2.45 Lacs. Cars24 wale Thugte hain public ko. Kindly stay away guys from Cars24.

Cars24 वालो ने मेरी a-star की वैल्यू 41500 बताये, मैंने मना किया तो मुझे rebidding के लिये समय माँगा 1या 2 दिनों मे 41500 से बढाकर 68000 तक कीमत बताये, मैंने 1 साल बाद उसी कार को 140000 मे बेचा और खरीदने वाला कह रहा हैं की मेरी नजर मे ऐसी ही कोई और कार हो बताना 😄😄
