- It's time for some more TAT FROM THE TARDIS and this time, we have some more trading cards to open! We return to the wonderful world of Battles in Time, the Doctor Who trading card game! I have another 32-pack booster box to open, and this pack celebrates not only Nu-Who but Classic Who as well, it's the ULTIMATE MONSTERS set!

Monster invasion were Matt Smith version of DrWho trading cards Mostly the same type of card them but with Doctors card and events cards that forces the play to pay a skill Vs a different (with our choice).💡
But even that ended when the 11th doctor regenerationed.
Never bought a single Monster Invasion card 😂 once they ended Battles in Time i was like 'that's it, I'm done!'

I've heard of them! But never collected them myself! I was a Battles in Time boy all the way!
Fun fact about these sets: each box contains 32 packs but ultra rares are seeded 1 in every 24 packs. This means you can get 1 UR a box, or 2 UR a box, and sometimes no URs in a box. But if you get 2 URs in a box they are always the same card for whatever reason.
Also the reason there's so many boxes of Invader and Ultimate Monsters in circulation is because the company who had the rights to print these cards got a new better printer and wanted to try it out, so they just printed a second wave of these two sets. The result being today you can get boxes of them on eBay for £20.
@@scotaku4531 Very interesting. I saw in this video a lot of the Rare and Super Rare cards have a "bend" down the middle. Do you know if this is related to one of the printers?

A bit of a shame that you blamed Brexit for the increase of postage prices, when this was filmed during the pandemic. COVID messing the economy worldwide would have been a lot more prominent at the time as to why things were chaotic then, nowadays of course, we blame Putin. :D
Can we please have a doctor's who physical cards game that doesn't just last untill a doctor regenerationed. 9th-10th doc doesn't count due to same logo and only last on year 2005-2995.
