I'm a 10000% positive that his wife was "I have my laptop but ok babe, cool, whatever you want babe" and this is actually Edgar's dream setup and video content material.

i feel your pain and ambition. I too tried to get my wife into gaming after i caught her playing COD on my pc a few times. except instead of a full blown set up like i wanted to build her i settled for a series S set up with mouse and keyboard

Ed, the G502X brings a new feature to that side button, it’s magnetic so it’s removable, the box includes a rubber magnetic piece to attach there and that button can be put in the other direction, just a cool feature to fit all type of hands
Just an armchair observation. A 2x4 stud is 1.25" wide. Your bracket looks wider than that and the screws hit the outside of the stud, not the middle. Maybe a piece of wood Horizontal that is .5" think. screwed to the 2x4 center studs. Then your brackets to the wood plate.

Ed, I'm just a little concerned about the wall mounting job for the brackets for the countertop. Most wall studs are 2x4's and those screwholes on the brackets look wider than the side of a 2x4. I know you drilled pilot holes to check, but are you sure the larger diameter lag bolts aren't just barely catching the edges of the 2x4's? I would have used a more center holed bracket to ensure it was centered in the wall stud. Unless you've got 4x4 wall studs for some reason in that spot... Just saying.. You might want to consider some sort of extra support for the weight on that desk..
Good point, It definitely felt like I was screwing through studs and not just drywall or hitting the edge of the studs. Im confident they arnt 4x4 but the distance between the holes are within 2x4.
