Hi Foss, you have a very good video camera. So clear and vibrant. You should get one for your friend, the Girl in Paradise. She needs a better camera. Love your video walks btw.
In the UK, we used to have a lot of traditional markets and sellers/trades where you could buy everything you wanted, get things fixed - the lot. But nowadays, there's nothing left. Sure, there's still a few open markets, but they're nothing compared to how things were. As the markets went, so did the good deals, properly fresh food and unlimited variety. Now we have fruit and veg packed in plastic bags with gas cocktails pumped in to them to keep them artificially fresh and the only variety we see is whatever the supermarkets give us (which is always based around their profit, not us, the customer). In fact, many foods are treated so they intentionally go off as soon as they are exposed to air, forcing us to need to buy more. We obviously do a lot of miles and cover most of the UK, so know it's definitely not just around this local area. It's the same right across the UK, and it has been this way for years now. That's progression for you!
Same situation here in Australia. And back in India in my city, the fresh veges arrive at 4am from farms to the wholesale market and I can shop at retail at 7am and the veges taste so much better than here. Yes, India is chaotic but its more natural than the artificial super hygienic places here.
This HDR footage is absolutely mesmerizing! Have you noticed any difference in the number of views between your HD and HDR videos? I’ve just started my own channel and I’m trying to understand what appeals most to walking tour viewers.
Do the street vendors tear down and set up shop everyday or are they open 24/7? . The displays are so elaborate it seems that would take a lot of time.
Great video but I get anxiety from all the crowds, scooters, noise and more. There must be millions of scooters in Mumbai alone! And all the shops, again a million plus in Mumbai, normal for them but I like my green space and solitude where I live thank you very much. 😁
Of course Porki, once the Mumbai coastal road is ready, it will surely become. Just watch a video or two about it, if you find some spare time from your madrassa
