I still mourn the kids of this for a more streamlined version of what truly them famous. Of course Tourniquet is very resemblant of this sound so I'm happy that was in ACS
@@mmaap1820Reminds me on Antichrist Superstar a bit

@@SpookyKid_SpaceAce Yes, I was there. My band at the time was the opener. I brought a video camera with me. Here's another video I recorded that same week. ua-cam.com/video/VN0YUveCohM/v-deo.html
@@red66chargerWow that's so cool! What was your band called?
Can't beat early Manson and Berkowitz
heyyyyyyyyyyyyy
What does it say in the beginning? "Satanists admit to beaming...", lol?
I always thought it was "Satanists convinced me" or "Satan has convinced me".
They kindve give me an early tool vibe here .
wut?
This was 91?
which song 13:55 ?
Learning to swim
@@TheFriendlyBola thank you so much
look like Mjkeenan a lot xd
He should grow a beard
Ive seen him grow a beard. Looks decent
I still love Manson but all grown up I question why doesn't he or any other artists criticize islam, it's the same as Christianity, and still worse in some ways.
Because he didn't study in a islamic school.
I think he mainly focused on Christianity because of the oppression and adversity he experienced being in Christian school for most of his childhood. He wanted to rebel and expose the hypocrisy of it all.
Exactly. We need to have more musicians these days really push the edge and offend Muslims too. Who the fuck cares about their threats? Fuck them
@Deathblooms9 he shouldn't be afraid, Christians attack people too. So I dont see why Manson shouldn't attack Islam too
because nobody in america would care if islam was criticized. christianity on the other hand has a much more protesting type of audience that gains more press attention
this is incredible
This whole section of Learning To Swim gives me chills everytime… 13:21
Epic
I wish they didn't streamline their sound so soon. I liked this early kitschy semi garagey/psychedelic sound before it got more metal. Still liked the latter, just saying. Saw them originally in early 91' at Washington Square in Miami Beach. He did great performance art as well back then. Brad was awesome as well, and brought the look to the band which would really prove to be crucial to their entire look, aesthetic and ultimate marketability. Gidget's look continued to remain even after he was fired with Jordie becoming Twiggy Ramirez. I was at the first show @ The Plus 5 in West Davie (I believe). I saw Brad in the crowd right before they went on with Jordie dressed like Brad, it was awkward when he walked on but he held his own and delivered. Brad always delivered when I saw him as well all the way up till the end when he was fired. RIP Brad
@@djthrift6244 I just wish I was alive at this time to even see them during this era
What a great song, the "Live as Hell" cassette version is incredible
@@djthrift6244completely agreed on wishing they didn't change the sound, and brad delivering everytime.

What was Shaggy 2 Dope doing on stage?
Satans convinced me 🐐
Visceral.
I think this is Weekends. 26 Oct 1991
Thanks Stephen! The date definitely works and the name of the club also sounds familiar. I recall there was an area to stand by the left side of the stage. I think there was a door there.
