Once you have done the above 3 you will easily get mortgage. Tada magic Stage 1 - Find a property you can afford. Stage 2 - Make an offer. Stage 3 - Arrange a solicitor and surveyor. Stage 4 - Finalise the offer and mortgage. Stage 5 - Exchange contracts. Stage 6 - Completion and final steps. Goodluck

Yes of course! You are not required to have UK citizenship to buy land here. However, getting permission to build on it is another matter. Overseas buyers may have the right to buy land, but land with planning permission to build can be hard to find. This is not to mention successfully submitting planning application into the planning portal of the said council, this is made much easier with the assistance of an Architect.
