I like how your videos can relate to other things besides smash. Your video about Understanding Neutral helped me get out of pools in Junior Olympics at fencing :)
And the very next thing coming after a Sequence is known as Conditioning. The fact that you expect an A-B-C, whether because it's the common thing to do or because the opponent already performed it a couple times, and then try to surprise you with ABF.
so by looking at a move as a catalyst or beginning of a string / sequence, you should decide to focus on what the beginning of said sequence is and deal with the whole thing instead of the catalyst itself. An example would be wolf shooting his blaster and then whiff punishing you when you try to jump over it. You must deal with the laser as well as the fair, nair or whatever, not just the laser. Thinking multiple steps ahead and identifying the beginning of a setup so you can react and give your home cooked meal that deals with the entire thing at once
Very insightful! I definitely fall into this trap a lot. I get caught off guard by a projectile and then focus very hard on not getting hit by the projectile, only to be hit with the camper's "true" attack.
I love this!!!! Your videos help me understand matches and play so, so much better. I’ve become a significantly better player than I once was all thanks to your videos. Keep up the awesome work!!!
So not only did I learn a very valuable concept in Smash but I also learned that parrying metal blade causes it to drop to the ground...? This video is great!
The main idea I get from this video is the necessity to think ahead. This attribute will allow us to outplay our opponents mentally and further our gameplay.
Think ahead but in situations that commonly reoccur in the specific matchup - as in the Pichu example. And once you find the counterplay it is all about the mixups. So be prepared for those, too!
This video is awesome. I beat my local Young Link player this week cuz I was using context clues to figure out what option he would pick after throwing boomerang. I watched him carefully and I was able to read him really hard with this idea of sequences in mind.
Excellent video! This is the kind of thing I would never think about on my own, but having watched this video, I feel like I have a whole new, refreshed perspective on why I and other players do certain things in given situations. No other videos I've seen on UA-cam come close to being as informative and interesting as these. Keep up the good work, sir! I hope to see more quality content from you soon! (And good luck on your finals, too!)
Great video. I told fatality on his stream that you guys gotta play each other on stream. I like both of your approaches to smash and you both enjoy playing ganon. it’ll be delicious.
You explain concepts very clearly! I'm a tutor and aspiring professor. How do you personally go about explaining a complicated concept? What questions do you ask yourself? Teach me your style of teaching

Damn, and here I was expecting you to mention DBFZ or something
I did see Big D in that sequence of letters though.
One of my favorite Dedede mains

Love this vid, it’s helping me round out how to play neutral overall.
Great video. Highlights a topic that is rarely adressed.

Your language has gotten a lot less vague and more concise while maintaining your erudite personality, I like it
You explain concepts very clearly! I'm a tutor and aspiring professor. How do you personally go about explaining a complicated concept? What questions do you ask yourself? Teach me your style of teaching

When will your first twitch stream be?
So what you're saying is when the old heads told me that Smash is like a conversation, they were being literal? :P
Damn why couldn't you have made these videos when I had started playing competitively?
Wow, first viewer! Man, I would love to follow you on Twitch! I hope I get to see your first dedicated stream.
