I’m sorry to hear about your migraines and lack energy. I had a rough start to my week last week and another rough day this past Monday. I hope this week goes better for you. Thank you for letting us know if we don’t see a video that you’re taking time, we all need to put ourselves first and listen to how we feel. Please if you need time, take that time we will always be waiting for your next video. ❤
girl, it's ok to to take a break und to feel down! I have these phases too and I also struggle with migraines (the past two weeks have been awful because I have to change medication) and I find what helps me the most is to actually plan a day or two of nothing! I know it sounds weird, but if I schedule a "nothing" day, I don't get disappointed in myself if I'm just able to exist and nothing else and if I actually get stuff done I'm proud of myself 😊 and I find each time I practice that mentality, it gets easier to let go of things outside of my control, which then seem to happen much faster!

I just wanted to give you a big hug while you were thinking out loud and telling us exactly how you were feeling. Waiting on something you have no control over can be really frustrating but one thing I’ve come to learn about life is “Everything works together for my good” so I try my best to enjoy where I am until the next move! I just got granted my visa to join my husband as well and I wish you the same soonest!

Your face instantly lighting up while speaking to your boyfriend, that's relationship goals. I believe that when we get sick (migraine's/colds) it's our body way to tell us to take a step back and slow down and destress. I hope everything sorts out and you could be back on track.
I use a nail strengthener that is uv cured like gel polish. It is a clear layer I put on after the base coat. You could try something like that to give more strength without looking as chunky as dip powder. That’s also why I don’t use dip. I never feel like it looks very good when I do it. I use the beetles nail strengthener. It’s a really inexpensive one and seems to be working well for me. Thanks for sharing your journey. I understand migraines, I suffer too and even though I’m menopausal I’m still getting migraines. Had flashing lights in my right eye sometimes all you can do is rest. I hope u feel better soon. I’m on daily meds for my migraines and then on different meds if I get start of a migraine.Has really helped. X

@@rachelleea I was peri menopausal two years ago and after 2months period then a light period then a heavy one, it changed to 3 months w/out and I ended up with a two months migraines only 7 days free from a migraine at all ( I stupidly still worked through my migraines). My dr made me have an mri scan as the flashing lights had switched sides and put me on daily meds. I have a small cyst on my brain but nothing to worry about yet. I’m still on waiting list to see neurologist but have not long ago had eye tests with glaucoma and they checked the back of my left eye when I mentioned about the cyst. But it is good to note things down and track symptoms and any changes even if they’re small. I’m on the drs equivalent of over the counter imigran (which in uk is expensive and have to answer a bunch of questions and u only get two in a pack. I get 6 in a pack from the drs and it’s on rpt prescription now. I’m now menopausal so have no periods but still get migraines. Had one Monday evening but the medication helped and I went straight to bed. I’ve had migraines since I was a kid though.
For the jean question, I think it looks nice as is, so I'd day leave the full length, and you can tuck them if need be :) I just recently learned about styling clothes instead of just wearing them, and I realize how much difference it makes both esthetically and ecologically (and budget-wise!!) 😊

This was so relatable and honestly it reminded me that sometimes you just can't be productive and do everything you want. I got my period and for me that is just terrible, so painful and uncomfortable and I just have to finally accept that I can't do much when it is that time, but it always makes me feel bad. Also I'm waiting for visa approval also to move and live with my husband and it is so frustrating, because that feeling of you can't do anything, but just wait is so devastating, I completely understand your feelings and frustration and I hope your visa gets approved soon and you can get on with all the tings you want. Reminder for everyone that sometimes we can't be as productive as we want to be, sometimes we have to cry a lot and it is ok. I hope you feel better soon and just want to say that I love your videos, they are so relatable and bring such a nice feeling while watching :)

Oh Rachel, I am in the same boat as you; WAITING for my visa. I'm trying to stay productive too but this last week, I have been really tearful, frustrated, low moods and bad moods. It's horrible. Today I've picked myself up and I'm pushing on. Like you, I'm slow moving but I keep thinking, I'm closer to the finish line with each passing day than I was before. I'm just riding it. if I'm moving slow it's because I need a few slow days. the last fews weeks are the worst in every aspect of waiting for things. you're almost there girl and so am I! lets do this!! we will look back on this. the longer the wait the bigger the reward! your sooooo close and you WILL get through the next few weeks. deep breaths and naps. things are always worse when your tired too.

Hey rachel lovely video as always! Hope to get well soon! I am a nail artist and this might help you: try not to use regular gel base coat as your nails break, try a rubber base (used as regular gel base) which is stronger or the best solution i recommend is to find a builder gel in a bottle. U can use it too as regular base and do two thin coats and ur nails will be stronger ❤
So if you do rubberbase
1.clean nails
2. One layer of rubber base
3. Apply color
(For somehow stronger nails)
If you use builder gel in a bottle ( i recommend it ❤)
1.clean nails
2. do a thin layer of rubberbase coat
3. do one or two coats of builder gel in bottle and cure in between (+ buffer on the surface)
4. Apply color

Its hard not knowing your next steps and just wait and have so much energy but cant do anything about it. But I’ve seen your progress through the years and you are strong enough to make it . Its hard but now you have time to organise your steps ! For me its better to take a break and come back stronger and that excess energy you have , you can give it to yourself. Invest in self care those hard days and weeks and u will come back stronger and more prepared. Relax in bed watch some movies and do face masks.spend some time w ur dog in nature and try to connect with urself and needs❤😊wish you the best

Honestly feel your frustration. I hate feeling like I’m not able to control what’s going on around me. Waiting endlessly for a visa application to go through so I can get on with my life would probably make my head implode. Take some time out. We will all be here when you’re ready to come back. But right now, put your head and health first. Also, not sure if you have seen a specialist/neurologist for your migraines. Mine was really helpful. Not just with meds but diet etc. Anyway, sending you the biggest hug 🥰

Sorry to hear you’ve been unwell and feeling like life is out of your control. Hopefully once you have some months of data your on/gyn could make a suggestion. On nausea, I take a med that makes me super nauseous and I highly recommend Preggy Pops. Not sure if they sell in AUS/CAN but they’re little lozenges that really help. I like the sour kind. Only downside is the have sugar but when you need it it’s worth it 😵💫 Take the time you need - we’ll be here 💗

I’m sorry you’re having an off week. We all have them so you are not alone. And I will say, I hate crying, but have come to accept that sometimes we need to in order to let go. So now I try to say it’s a form of catharsis, if that makes sense? Hormones can definitely wreak havoc in ways that we never fully understand. You’re on your way and things will work out soon! ❤
Totally understand where you're coming from in terms of feeling like nothing much is happening, I keep coming back to your channel for updates on the Canada visa or something new but end up tuning out because it's beginning to look alot of the same with you just in your room like some home detention situation (thats meant to be a joke) so I can imagine how you are feeling. You did spend alot of last year visiting different places and people, have you thought of doing that whilst you're here in Australia - maybe do some housesitting or get out and about a bit more as it may help you get out of the doldrums of waiting for someone else to decide on the fate of your future. Housesitting may keep the cost down but give you a new place with new experiences giving you a much needed lift.

I get being in those moods, it sucks. Crying and headaches are awful. Sometimes when I get that way, I go sit in the sun for some vitamin D for about 20 minutes. It does help. Or try some supplements.
You should remove the stamen also. And try not to get the stamen “powder” on the petals.
Tracking migraines helps and keep an eye on what side things start on so if there’s anything abnormal u can get it checked out. Even if u know your main triggers it helps to write them down xx

Take your time, just like every job, which this is, you need to take mental health days. My suggestion is find a space that can or is a space that brings joy and be present In that space it may help. See you when you get back 😊

I suffer from hormonal migraines and it sounds very similar to yours. It's when your hormones drop quickly. I find mine improves when i take double magnesium the week before and during that week.

Hi, Rachel. You don't know me of course 😅 but I have been a subscriber of yours for some years now. I love your videos especially because I am very similar to what you have shown so far of you. The funny thing is that these past years whenever you have moved houses I had the same experience going on at the same time. Now I will be moving to Portugal on the end of March as well and I completely understand how you feel. I too just want to move and start the process and everyday that passes feels like weeks. But I know that it's only temporary and one day we will look back and we will want to tell ourselves to take a deep breath. So that is what I am doing right now: I am taking the advice my future self would give to me and I also want you to take that advice. 😊 Just breath. It feels terrible now but all will be ok in no time.❤

Try chlorella tablets for migraines I get them every month as well and they make a huge difference xx
