What a gorgeous set of yarns for your wedding cardigan! That will be a joy to knit. Just a tip as you’ll be knitting it through the summer, don’t leave your knitting in the sunlight as it can sometimes yellow white yarn. You may know this already, I did, but still managed to obtain proof of this theory when I left the white penny gloves I was knitting on in my window sill, I just didn’t think.

Oh thank you! That is a great tip. Can you imagine if half of it was yellow 😱

Greetings from South Australia. Congratulations on passing your exam. Its not easy. Now retired from working in a city hospital as an Endoscopy nurse. Took up knitting again and learnt spinning and prepping fleeces. Sounds like italian bind off for your sleeves.

Delighted to hear your exam news and can't wait for the stripey jumper pattern. I love the idea of a wedding cardigan and with so much thought gone into it it will mean so much to you ❤❤

Okay, The lovely yarn for your bridal sweater is wonderful! Do your best to get it finished soon, as life is nasty about piling things on when a wedding is afoot. Best wishes!

Your Eun Sweater looks great. I love the idea of slightly different mohair in front and back. It gives you a chance to use multiple colors you love.

That baby overall is SO cute! The color blocking looks fabulous! I much prefer it to a single color version 😍 I'll be an aunty this year as well and when I'm finished with the baby blanked I might knit that one up as well 😊
I love the idea to knit a cardigan for your wedding! I'm sure it will turn out SO lovely AND you can wear it after the wedding as well - which is not so often the case for wedding makes ^^. I think an airy mohair/suri version would be fabulous for a spring/late summer wedding as well!
And I feel you with picking cat hair out of knits... I feel like my sury sweater is made out of at least 1/3rd cat hair
Video quality is completely fine for me! Filming on the phone seems to work very well! I just had to turn my volume waaay up (and regretted that during the ads 😂), don't know if you can edit the volume of your voice in editing afterwards? I don't know a thing about that though 😂 Don't worry though I really enjoyed the episode!
Please excuse any typos, I'm not a native speaker and where I'm currently typing this comment from doesn't have an English spelling check 😄

Bethany from WellLovedKnits has a video for a 2x2 tubular BO. It is very similar to a normal tubular, but it has been converted to work with 2x2. I have used it on 2 projects so far and am very pleased with it.

When making things for babies that have working buttons I tend to use snaps instead. If you still want the “button look” then you can sew on the button just for looks.

I thoroughly enjoy your podcasts! I am amazed that you’re pursuing a medical career and all the knitting things. Your phone camera is very good. Just some advice (I watch lots of podcasts…lol) when you want to show closeups and details….block your face out. I am sure you will notice if you edit. Thanks for sharing your projects and inspiring us.💞

Yes I notice that when I edited 🙈 notes for next time! it must prioritise my face as a default

I like to do a double chain bind off. If you google “Obsessive cast off” by Ann Kingstone then you can see the steps. It creates a stretchy bind off that doesn’t flair and you have two parallel rows or chain stitches along the edge so it looks very neat and tidy.

You can maybe try to hide your face and not talk when you show your projects or yarn so that those items are focused on rather than your face :) But even just hiding your face seems to help a lot!

The new phone doesn't respond as fast as your camera did. So when you showed us stuff close up it would respond about the time you were pulling away. Hum, and your face was out of focus much of the podcast.

interesting and lovely things you do, however, the sound of the video is terrible - you should take care of your microphone or simply speak louder, otherwise it is too bad to offer your videos of high quality content but with indigestible sound :-(
